“These are nice heavy duty stands. The only aspect that I would improve is the silly insulating stickers provided for the top place which any speaker will flatten in a matter of minutes. A set of rubber bumpers from Home Depot was necessary.
Also, the top plate is quite small, larger monitors will sit precariously on them.
All else is very good.”
“Arrived double boxed, well packaged and damage free. Went together easy enough. Those posting that they are hard to assemble or are not machined correctly should try finger tightening everything before you torque it down. They do ring slightly when you thump them, so I am going to fill baggies with sand and fill up the legs. I also used some blue tax to secure my speakers and isolate them from the stands. If I have one minor complaint, it is that these speakers should come with feet or spike covers suitable for a hardwood floor. If you are the sort of person who has nice speakers, chances are you may have nice floors you don't want destroyed by the carpet spikes that come with these stands. I ordered some on Amazon. Overall I am very pleased with the heavy duty functionality and high end look.”
“Without question, a superior product. Yes, the stands are imported from Taiwan but don't be too criticizing of that fact because the stands are built in a heavy gauge steel with precision cuts and sculpting. Somebody over there (Taiwan) knows what they're doing and has a brilliant perception for looks and function. A very cool industrial look but also elegant and clean looking with the black phosphate coating which is either dipped or sprayed on, I can't tell but the finish is immaculate. If you're on the fence about what to do concerning the purchase of high quality speaker stands, you don't need to think about it anymore, buy yourself a set of the Pangea speaker stands. They are quite heavy and provide a very sturdy and stable base even without shot or sand, which I won't bother with either because in my opinion there's really no need. A little expensive? Yes. Worth it? Oh, hell yes!”
“These are great speaker stands. My bookshelf speakers fit perfectly. The one thing I would do differently is to include rubber feet as well as the spikes. Wood floors don't like spikes.”
“I received the stands which came in one box with an outside corrugated wrap to help protect the contents. Package was strapped on all six sides but box still managed to sustain some tearing on one end. Once assembled one stand was easily assembled. The second stand had some twisting with one of the four columns which caused the top and bottom plates to not be perfectly squared (reason for 4 out of 5). I would likely order this product again.”
“Well built, Easy to assemble. Improved both imaging and bass response compare to the bar stools I was using before. This is before I filled them with sand. Highly recommended.”
