“This is my 2nd purchase of the 2250v.2. I was so happy with the amp's performance in my “Bâ€� system I bought a second for my main system. The amp is crystal clear and brings out tremendous detail. I'm using them to drive a pair of vintage, Infinity 7 Kappa speakers in the “Bâ€� system and Harbeth SHL5+ speakers in my main system. With the A/B feature I'm also driving a pair of KEF LS50's. The ramp up in the detail that was revealed in the KEF's was jaw dropping.
For the performance and quality of this amp, at this price, I don't believe you can find a better value. Highly recommend.”
“I purchased this back in December from Audio Advisor and wanted to live with it a while before I left a review. I use this amp mostly as my main left/right channels for stereo listening. The product was boxed and protected well for shipping. I was slightly surprised at its weight when I lifted it out of the box. It is not overly heavy at @45 pounds but I could tell it was well designed and fit and finish is first rate. Noting other reviewers comments, this amp sounds slight forward at first using it on a pair of large, 4 ohm KEF reference 2.2 at first ,but after a few weeks of burn in, the sound seemed to bloom. The bottom end tightened up and the mid-range and top end sounded sweet. Sound stage was rock solid and the transparency of solo instruments reveled it's self to me. Most importantly , to me anyway, was the rock solid bottom end and dynamics this amp has shown me. It has never felt constrained or straining at any listening level and driven hard, never more than slightly warm to the touch.
At this price, anyone looking to step up from a integrated amp or receivers power output would be hard pressed to find a better product in any category. Use what you have as a preamp and let the Parasound 2250 V2! do the rest. You won't be sorry.”

“I was very pleased with this amplifier. The sound quality is excellent, power is more than sufficient even with difficult to drive loudspeakers, and clarity and definition is very good. The dynamic range is very good. I did notice the amplifier sounded better after it was on for a while and after I used it for several days, so if you buy it, use it for a while before you judge. Frankly, at $999, I am seriously contemplating buying another one!”
“OK, I am not “seriousâ€� audiophile. But I have pretty large speakers in my studio that used to be driven by a Crown DC300A that had problems. I replaced them with a amplifier that I thought was OK but became concerned it was not quite doing the job. I had modest expectations for the Parasound. Was I wrong. The difference is amazing. Works great, sounds great, very, very happy. If you are the kind of guy that worries about the oxygen content of the wires, I cannot speak for you. But for the rest of us that pretty much think an ohm is an ohm, this amp is an eye opener.”
