“While this is decent kit with good components, the ability to tilt the stand to match that of my mains was not well thought out. I had to struggle to make the stand hold its position in the proper fashion.
I also opted to purchase the recommended set of spiked pads to provide better isolation through my carpet. The spikes were too short and the pads too small to accommodate the rubber pads on the sub stand. So, fine tuning the position on the floor was harder than it had to be. Once all the fussing was over, the stand has functioned well.”
“I paired this stand with one of my Audioengine subs that already sits on a stand. This is an inexpensive down firing front ported speaker. The upgrade is not subtle. Well worth the investment even when not on sale.”
