“Product description doesn’t match packaging, no support response, and returns policy concerns On the website, the description for 'Bio ONe pet odour remover' states it can be used for "Odour in the air, Fox, rat, mouse, badger dropping, Remarking in the same spot" but there are only references to indoor use on the actual packet (and no references to foxes) when it arrives. Although the company states "If you have any questions at all about your order, delivery, or how to get the best out of your products, you can reply to this email and our team will be happy to help" no one has responded to my multiple emails. n addition, the returns policy on the website appears to be outdated and not compliant with current UK consumer law. It refers to the former Distance Selling Regulations and states that customers may cancel “up to 7 working days after receipt of payment” and that original postage costs will not be refunded. Elsewhere, the returns page states that customers have 14 days from receipt of the order to return goods. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers generally have 14 days from receipt of goods to notify the seller that they wish to cancel an online order, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods. The regulations also require standard delivery costs to be refunded where a consumer exercises their right to cancel.”

“The odour remover works very well, though the scent is rather strong. After spraying, you need to leave the windows wide open for some time. I would probably prefer an unscented spray. Once the area has been fully aired, the scent is not really noticeable. The spray bottle's trigger switch is a bit difficult to open and close.”

“This actually worked. My cat had ended up peeing on my new 2021 car, freshly financed. Although it was a small amout. It stank anytime that the heat of the sun would warm up the car. I received package in short time. Followed directions and the first time I used it; it did not work. But then I sprayed a second time and didn't work as well. Then I decided to add more cleaning liquid based on my own judgment with alot less water. Then after drying it was officially gone. The sun heats up the car and it will not smell anymore. Deserves a review beacuse it actually works. I saturated well my car seat fyi. watch out for mold....”

“I thought I'd try this to see if it's any better than the normal brand I use. Unfortunately it's not that great. The spray bottle provided is poor so I originally thought I wasn't covering the area enough however after decanting it into a different bottle it just wasn't cutting it and never did stop the smell of dog urine and poo. I've gone back to my original brand. Plus the free hand sanitizer is just as bad and leaves your hands sticky.”

Tips to try: - Ensure the area is well saturated so enzymes reach deep into fibres. - Apply across all affected areas and allow a longer dwell time before drying - it carries on working whilst it is damp as these are live enzymes at work. - Sorry that the spray bottle isn’t performing, decanting into a different container can help - just make sure that you rinse the bottle out, as natural enzymes get killed by cleaning chemicals. - For persistent smells, consider treating the area again. “Very fast delivery..... Easy to make up, clean instructions. Smell is pleasant but sadly it hasn't really done the job as we hoped. Our dining room was used to house some kittens in and they weren't as careful with their litter tray as we hoped. The whole room smells of cat urine. Initially washed the carpet with our carpet vax. Didn't do the job. Treated carpet twice with Bio one and the odour is still there. Will try treating for a third time and fingers crossed it works. Doesn't seem to live up to expectations.”

Hi Jacqueline, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Bio One™ pet odour remover + refresher concentrate. I’m really sorry to hear it hasn’t removed the cat urine odour in your dining room. A stubborn penetrated odour, especially in a large area can require a few approaches. If you haven’t already, make sure the area is well saturated so the enzymes can work deeper into the fibres. The cat urine will be sitting down in the underlay and this is where the bad bacteria will be forming and in turn where the mal odour will be coming from. One tip would be to wet the carpet area first, you want it to penetrate down into the underlay, so that when you spray the enzymes on they can actually make their way down there. if you have an area that is really bad you can even pour the solution onto it. If the area is damp the enzymes will multiple out, and work deep in the fibres. Essentially what you have to remember, is Bio One Enzymes eat the residue carbon matter and the bad bacteria growing on it, and it keeps working until there is nothing left for it to consume, and when it dries it stops working. So make sure the area is wet so it soaks down to where the problem is, make sure you have put enough of the enzymes on the area - they need to penetrate down to the problem, make sure you do this in all the problem areas. It will work as long as you can get the enzymes to where the problem is. Also, consider cleaning surrounding areas (baseboards etc) as odours can linger in adjacent materials.
