“Having used the service a number of times at Gatwick I was a bit shocked at the difference between the two facilities. Gatwick is a very sharp operation with a secure entry system, clean, modern reception, proper marked out parking spaces on a tarmac surface and friendly staff. In contrast, the Stansted facility was difficult to get into, I had to phone to be let in because the gates wouldn’t open. The parking area was a filthy dirt track. The reception was also dirty and smelt of marujuana, as did the transfer van…which could also do with a clean. On my return I overheard the staff on the radio taking the micky out of a customer who was having difficulty with entry. I was very anxious about my car left at this location the whole time I was away. When I returned to my car the driver side footwell was caked in mud. Needless to say I won’t be using APH at Stansted again.”
“Reasonable prices, 5 minute transfer to the airport. Much smaller than the Gatwick sight that we use regularly. Very muddy and bumpy parking area. Reception was a 'hut', so had to wait outside at 3.30am and -4°. Driver didn't speak at all. Return was much better, quick collection, cheerful chatty driver, car was close to the exit. I would use again if I had to but site needs upgrading.”
