“Arrived 2am 17th October along with another 3 flights. Trying to get out of car park was a complete shambles as barrier wasn't accepting the entry ticket that was issued. Lots of people were having this problem thus causing a gridlock of hundreds of cars. A useless employee asked me what problem was and upon my answer he told me he wouldn't let me out without my booking reference which i didn't have ( lots of other people also didn't have this available) and he simply walked away leaving the chaos to escalate. Another employee with common sense appeared and upon my explaination he let me and other cars out. APH either sort your barrier system out or employ staff with at least an ounce of common sense.”
“Booking system easy. Finding a space in the early hours of the morning before our departure to our holiday destination was very difficult as we had to drive around a fair while before finding a parking space - so give yourself time. Also because we were at the very back area L not many customary coaches around to take you. Same on way back. We then had to pull our cases over a very stoney tarmac style track heading across towards the main airport entrance before getting onto better pathways/tracks which wad difficult at night. However it wasn't raining so that was better. Didn't expect long stay car park to be as busy in October.
Saying that. Car was safe. No problems arriving and departing the main car park entrances. Certainly much cheaper to pre-book than pay on arrival/departure.”
