“I’ve booked with APH every time I’ve flown from Newcastle. I wasn’t aware of the APH parking facility being closed, only found out via an A4 paper notice on a barrier. I made sure way to a somewhat full long stay. On making my way to the bus pickup shelter, the time for a bus we’re no longer available which meant we had to walk to the terminal with our cases. I was expecting the usual APH parking and transfers that we’ve been accustomed to.”
“Easy to locate and plenty of spaces. 25% discount wasn't applied as not an APH owned car park. I always book via APH. Bus was easy to the terminal on arrival however on return couldn't find the pick up point. Pick up point needs to be more obvious. Has to walk back fortunately not a long walk.”
“Three stars as the Long Stay Car Park is not, as stated, '5 minutes walk away from the airport'. - more like 15 -20 minutes walk. You also have to make a note of which parking bay eg 'B' you left your car in for your return. On exit the barrier does not lift up automatically as it does on entry. I had to get out the car and feed it into the slot! So, not 5 stars for this reason. Still, it's the same price as a local taxi firm = 62 GBP return so good value. However the 20% discount does not apply at Newcastle airport so again, only 3 stars.”
“I normally return to the air port between 4/6pm and I have never been able to get a curtesy bus back to the long stay car park .I am 75 years of age and find having to walk back to my car with my case etc especially in the dark is very unnerving.”
“My first time flying from Newcastle. I found it very difficult to find where I was supposed to park. It was dark when I arrived there were several areas closed off and some staying staff only. I had to U turn several times to eventually find a place to park in an area which was already heavily used. The one redeeming factor was the bus which both on arrival and departure came quickly with a friendly driver.”

The shuttle bus service is a disaster, not starting until 11.00am meaning all passengers with flight times before1.00pm have to walk to the terminal
Not good for an 80 year old with dodgy knees. Having to drag luggage there and back to the terminal was not good. (My flight arrived at 8.50am)”
