“Reception staff and room very good but evening meal expensive and of mediocre quality. No option for bar food; just the restaurant. Very basic bar area and cold as it shares open plan area with entrance to hotel.
Walking distance to T1; 5-10 mins. Shuttle bus is sub-contracted to independant company which has to be paid for as an extra; had to wait 30 mins for our transfer.
Have used the Clayton previously and can recommend.”
“The hotel is a bit pricey for what you get (i.e. A bed for the night and maybe some slightly expensive food). The big disappointment however is the lack of a courtesy bus for transfer to your terminal at Manchester airport. It was once provided but is now a payable shuttle bus run by 'The Car Park People' (at a charge rate of over £5 per person).”
