“A small change would make this a great service. We we at Terminal 2 the driver turned up then requested £5 so he could get the car out of the airport we only had £10 and we were left with no options but to hand the driver this which left us feel we had been left to ransom. If you know about this cost then why not add this when booking so we don't have to pay this in cash. The drop off driver was more helpful and had a QR code that all we needed to do was scan and pay. Due to this I feel we will just use Manchester meet and greet in future as everything is included and you don't have to pay cash to the driver.”
“Manchester Airport Parking Review - Fine and Poor Communication
Booking Details: 2-week holiday parking for two adults.
The Good: The parking experience itself was smooth and convenient otherwise.
The Problem: Upon being met by the driver at Manchester Airport on arrival, we were asked for a £5 exit charge. As we didn't have the exact change, we gave the driver £10.
The Consequence: When we returned from our holiday, we were shocked to receive a £100 parking fine from APCOA. The reason cited was non-payment of the parking exit charge, suggesting the £10 we gave the driver was not used to pay the fee.
The Communication Failure: I immediately emailed APH regarding this serious issue two weeks ago but have not yet received any correspondence or acknowledgement of my complaint.
Conclusion: We both have very hectic jobs, and the last thing we needed after a relaxing holiday was this frustrating and expensive hassle. I expect an urgent resolution to this fine, which was incurred due to the driver's handling of the exit charge, and a much better level of customer service communication.”
“Great organisation and communication. All ran very smoothly and car well looked after. Staff were friendly and price was comparable to car parking away from airport. After a very late flight home, it was easy to collect the car and get straight on our way. Would definitely use again. Thank you.”
