“Very efficient service but make sure that you follow the instructions to reach the parking service very carefully to avoid extra costs. Our car was looked after very well and delivered back efficiently even though our flight was 4 hours+ late”
“I have used Meet and Greet a number of times but, at Heathrow, I have yet to find my way to Level 4 of the car park at Terminal 5 to drop off the car. I re-read the instructions many times before I set off but once in the system, it is very difficult to match the instructions to the signs. I don't do the journey often enough to get used to it.
On my recent visit, I had three friends with me and there were differing opnions to what the final instructions meant. Although we are told to avoid the Meet and Greet, the sign also showed Level 4. We ended up in a car park which we eventually exited and had to pay the £7.50 fee, only to find that we returned to the same car-park (through a different entrance) when going round the circuit again. When I phoned to ask for help, I was asked to stay on Level 3 and someone would meet me there. This is what happened only last visit.
On our return, we found we exited at the same point where we thought we'd made the mistake when arriving. We were delayed by half an hour looking for the entry to the carpark which added a bit of time pressure for us. Thankfully we had checcked in online. Please can these instructions be rewritten - they clearly make sense to the person who has written them but not to the drivers (especially when travelling alone). Thank you.
Although I rang when we landed, explaining that we didn't have hold luggage to pick up, we were asked to ring again once through the Arrivals area. I did this and was then told the car would be another 20 minutes before it arrived. I did wonder why I needed to make this first call.”
