“whilst the service was prompt my car came back with some chips of paint missing from the door edge of the drivers side door. These were not present when I handed over the car and must have been made in the process of parking or recovering my vehicle.”
“No problems with the drop off but the pick up was very late and the phne contact was incredibly rude.
I followed the instructions to call once landed whcih I did at 07:10. I called again - as instructed - immediately we had picked up our baggage (7:32) where I was told the driver would be with us in 20 minutes. When the driver did not arrive 24 minutes later I called (07:56) and was told definitively that the driver was 8 minutes away and the Park Giant employee hung up on me. 8 minutes later - you can guess - the car still had not arrived so I rang again. The person on the other end of the line was rude and claimed they hadn't promised anything and hung up on me. I called back. They blamed the traffic and hung up on me again. We eventually took possession of the car at 08:22 some 72 minutes after my initial call to say we had landed and 52 minutes after confirming we had picked up our luggage. At the end of a 7 hour flight that was not welcome.
While the delay was frustrating and I can accept that traffic can be unpredictable - there were no other people waiting with us who were experiencing delays picking up their vehicles - the rudeness and lack of any customer service (let alone any semblance of an apology) was the aspect that annoyed me most.
Really poor that an APH partner woudl behave as poorly as this.”
