“Pick up on arrival / return was invaluable as we were with x3 heavy bags and very jet lagged. We simply phone it in and the car was ready in short stay. For drop off the service was a little frustrating as we were hassled about our arrival time and then desk agent wasn’t clear they covered APH really ! Plus the arrival instructions needs better descriptions- it needs to be clear that this is not the heathrow meet and greet service in a completely different part of the T2 carpark.”
“Having to catch a 0630 flight, with 2 sets of golf clubs and other luggage for 2 people, we decided to use the APH recommended Partner at Heathrow, MBW. Knowing the service starts at 0400hrs, we arrived in good time 0345hrs and proceeded to wait for the APH partner, MBW, to turn up. At 0401hrs they turned up and began the process of handing over the car. Happy with all, it seems, until I gave him the parking arrival ticket, which he then said I had to pay first, as I arrived before 0400hrs. No wishing to creata scene, I duly paid the £7.50 charge and enetered the temimal to connect with my flght.
Coincedently, my friend arrived at the same time as me, to hand her car over to Maple Parking and she was not required to pay for her "early arrival". Upon reaching my destination, I looked into the MBW T&C's in more detail, to find a "45 minute" window upon entering the car park, however, they do not state that you must arrive from 0400hrs, only that their service hours start at 0400hrs. Sadly, I placed my faith in APH, having been a very long term customer and feel a little let down by this "hidden charge". However, the service was good, car arrived on time and was parked I assume in a safe place, a few miles from Heathrow.”
