“Good on way out and overall, but we had a 9am pickup on the return from our holiday to Heathrow T3, phoned at 8.23am, told it would be 25 mins and it arrived at 9.25am. We put it down to a busy time for people returning but slightly frustrating.”
“The booking process was straightforward and the instructions to the car park easy to follow. The staff we had contact with were courteous and friendly.
Upon return the instructions clearly state that you should not contact APH to collect your car until you have collected your luggage and are ready to exit the terminal.
While waiting for our luggage I received a call from APH to say that my car was ready. I pointed out that there was a delay with the luggage carousel and that it would be a while before I could collect my car. There was also then a delay with the lifts up to the short stay car park. Subsequently by the time I collected my car it had already gone over the time allowed to be in the car park and I had to pay an extra £7.50 upon exit. This would not have happened if the APH staff had worked to their own processes and not responded to the flight arrival information which is clearly what they did. I had never had this problem with meet and greet before and the litenay of contradictory excuses made when I raised the issue only made me feel more aggrieved. I appreciate that the staff involved in my car being taken to the short stay car park early did so with good intent but it does clearly state in the collection instructions NOT to contact APH until you have collected your luggage.”
“We found the instructions for locating where to leave the car to be very confusing and ended up in the wrong area of the airport twice, resulting in a need to pay to enter and exit these areas. Once we located the correct location, the service was good.”
“The arrival instructions were incorrect, the signs did not match the instructions.
There was no APH representative but it was subcontracted to another random company for offsite parking.
No issue on return as we knew where to go and was again met by a random company not APH”
