“Stayed overnight before departing from Gatwick Aiport the following morning. Was easily found and a short distance from the airport.
Friendly reception staff. Beds were a little uncomfortable, but this is due to them being too soft with a dip in the middle due to extensive use. Room was clean, tidy and roomy.”
“Comfortable,clean room and courteous welcome by the manager.
Difficult evening though for the staff as unprecedented and torrential rain had flooded the lobby area soon after we arrived. The clean up was very efficient and the staff were very hard working to get normal conditions restored. Despite the problems with the flooding the staff remained good-humoured and were clearly working beyond their shifts.
By next morning there was little evidence of the flooding.
Would stay again, hoping for better weather!”
“When we got to the Holiday Inn we was given room 149 which was a stunning room looked very clean and didn’t disappoint us at all, Loads of the time during the night I was woken as could feel something crawling on me which I just brushed off as didn’t want to put the light on and wake my wife up as we had to be up early. To my astonishment when we got up and I went over to the desk to get bits that we had put on there they were all covered in ants and when looked in the bed covers there was a few in there to. My wife got out the mosquito spray and sprayed all of them and it seemed to kill them, on telling the receptionist and showing the pictures and video we had taken we also told him we had killed them he didn’t seem fazed at all just said thanks, I said you need to find where they are coming from as more will come but he didn’t seem to bothered.”
“The weather was atrocious and the foyer/bar/restaurant got flooded. Water coming through lights in restaurant so it got closed. Fire alarms went off and we had to go out but staff were great and dealt with the problems quickly. We would go back”
“Very handily situated close to Gatwick and APH car park. Hotel room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Ideal for an overnight stop-over. Staff friendly and helpful.”
“Excellent location from Gatwick south terminal. The hotel was very nice and everything was very straightforward from checking in to checking out
The first time we have ever done hotel and parking and we will definitely do this again.”
