“Booked room for 3 adults and 1 child. Sofa bed did not have a mattress to fit and exposed springs (over 1ft exposed)under the pillows. Only one pillow provided. Room for 4 people and only towels and cups for 2 people provided. Checkin welcome was very unfriendly.”

“Great hotel to stay in, very convenient for travelling to Gatwick airport early the next morning.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks and dinner at the restaurant the night before which were all lovely.
Rooms were clean and had everything we needed, although some extra milks and teabags would’ve been appreciated, which I’m sure we could’ve called reception for had we really been desperate.
Only criticism is the futon sofa bed my 14 year old daughter slept in kept springing back as if it wanted to fold back into its sofa position. It was very creaky, kept almost folding when she rolled over and you could feel every bed spring in the very thin mattress it came with. It was gone midnight when she woke me, upset that she couldn’t sleep at all so we ended up switching beds and from that point on it was I who couldn’t sleep. Had it been earlier in the night I would’ve asked about switching rooms, but not at around 1 in the morning.
We told reception the following morning and they were very apologetic and said they’d pass it on to housekeeping, and maintenance if needed. Cannot ask more than that.
All in all an enjoyable stay and we would recommend to others.”
