About a 15-minute transfer from the terminal, but the whole process was very smooth. The three main positives for me were: (i) the relatively (!) lower cost compared with other options; (ii) I kept control of my car keys and vehicle throughout; and (iii) there was little to no waiting around for the shuttle buses, although I may have been lucky with timing. One thing to note is that much of the car park surface is compacted hardcore rather than tarmac, which makes dragging suitcases across it a bit awkward.

Great service… only comment would be to update the signage at Luton airport… the signs mention “show your parking ticket to the driver”… the system is automated with no tickets issued!

The self park section has clearly been 'repurposed' from the original drop and go parking. There are no designated walkways and gaps between cars are such that it is difficult to drag suitcases through. No signage for the bus transfer or the exit. Rough surface for suitcases. Little or no line markings for parking. Floodlights might be helpful security, but are of little use when arriving at night to actually see where you are walking. No communication from the drivers, so you have to guess that the bus will come back out of the drop and go carpark into the self park car park. All in all, disappointing and not what I have come to expect from APH.
