“Parking space fine and bus service good.
Unfortunately, we experienced difficulty both when entering and when leaving Long Stay 2.
On neither occasion was our number plate recognised.
On entering, we were instructed on screen to scan the bar code on our booking confirmation, after several tries this eventually seemed to work and the barrier raised.
On leaving, our number plate was again not recognised. Rather than go through the routine of scanning, I pressed the inter com and explained the difficulty. After verbally confirming my vehicle registration details, the barrier was raised for us.
I have used your services over many years, principally at your Shardon site (Manchester airport) and never had this problem previously.”
“The signage to the car park was easy to follow. Entry (and exit) was by number plate recognition. Spaces were easy to find. The bus stop for the terminal is about 100 yards away off site, so be prepared for that if taking heavy cases. The bus stop on return is slightly further away. The bus runs about every 10/15 minutes. All in all parking and getting to and from the terminal was pretty straight forward. I would say that Long Stay 1 is a bit easier as the bus stop is on site.”
