“Long stay 2 was formerly long stay 3. It is a 5 minute brisk walk from terminal though footpaths are not present in places.
Main criticism is that to take the shortest route to terminal from car park you have to climb over a wooden fence and no path through for pedestrians. You can duck under but still a little awkward. Worth noting this is the car park that offers free drop off and not the £5 charged at rapid drop off.
If just dropping off press and get a token.
If you have prepaid to park the numberplate recognition is in operation.”
“Pre booked with APH. Arrived on time. Barrier would not open. No response from help button. Had to take a token to get in. On return a week later would not let me out. Queue behind me. Help button eventually answered. Told I shouldn't have taken a token. Explained that was the only way to get in. Made it sound like my fault! Let me out once I'd put the token in which fortunately I still had. Fee on the machine was over £1000. No apology.”
“All worked very well with automatic plate recognition return to parking was about midnight so a bit disconcerting when bus to car park had no driver.
As bus drops off outside car park there is a bit of a walk to car which could be an issue if you have several case's.”
