“Excellent service. Driver helpful, happy and smiley. The only (tiny) issue was that the car smelt of the farmyard when it came back- it must have been parked up in a 'composty' field and the smell lingered for a while. I would definitely use them again”
“Booking through APH was easy enough. I didn’t look into Forge Meet and Greet as quite frankly I wanted the cheapest option and had booked a last minute getaway.
Instructions from Forge were clear and I rang them half an hour before arrival as stated. They didn’t seem to understand why I was calling at first then agreed to meet me at the drop off zone at 3:50am.
Upon arrival at the drop off zone, it wasn’t clear who I was dropping my car to, so I rang the number I had previously rang and had no reply. As I knew time was precious as I had to pay the £7 (they state it as £6 on their website) waiting fee so I got out the car and looked around for some resemblance of Forge Meet and Greet. I then had a phone call telling me I was meant to be there at 3:50am. I tried to explain I was there and had called. I finally met the man who then realised he didn’t have my booking with me (which explains the confusion beforehand on both sides I guess). He asked if the money for exit was in the car, I said yes, he explained any change would be kept in a bag with the car key in a safe and then put in the car on pick up.
As I entered the airport, I had a phone call from the guy getting me confused with another customer. It didn’t seem very organised and put stress on the trip that the car wasn’t being left in safe hands.
On arrival back to the UK, we were told not to ring until we were past security and that they tracked flights so knew when we would have landed (I also was unsure on this seeing as he didn’t have my booking when we arrived the first time). Once out of the airport, I had to ring the number 3 times to be then met with a “will be there in 10-15 minutes”. After 35 minutes in the rain, the car was returned but no change from my £10 I had left originally.”
