“It was fairly easy to park at Bristol Airport on the 3rd September, but some of the cars were very badly parked taking up 2 parking spaces.
APH are a very good firm and the flexibility of parking at Bristol is very good if your circumstances change they are both considerate and helpful in altering your booking.”
“1) Difficult to a parking spot.
2) Non luggage friendly surface
3) Ticket issue confusing and inaccurate ( several tickets issued after initial refusal on entry).
4) Exit refusal and confusion due to incorrect data and tickets despite having booked everything properly.
5) Suggest needs urgent middle management review and correction.”
“I parked in a section of the long stay car park beyond the hotel and multi-storey car park which then entailed a long, meandering walk to the terminal via paths and ramps. Not the 5 minute walk that was advertised, and a difficult walk for anyone with heavy suitcases and/or limited mobility.
On our return, we were faced with the same walk back to the car at 2am in the morning. Fortunately, it was not raining, but I had a very tired 11 year old son who found the walk exhausting following a 4 hour flight and then nearly 2 hours waiitng for our baggage to be made available.
Exiting the car park then proved problematic as there was no clear signage and I was dependent on 'EXIT' markings on the ground that directed me initially to a former exit that had been blocked off.
With hindsight, would I have been better off in the Silver Parking facility at a lower cost and with no 'trek' from car parking space to /from the Terminal?? Something I shall certainly consider when I use Bristol Airport again.
On a positive note, the booking system and automatic entrance and exit at the barriers was efficient and easy to use.”
