“The car park was very busy when we arrived, and I had to park quite a long way back.
But, the bus stops are not too far away so they are only a short walk away.
The bus frequency is quite good and the stops are well announced.
Looks like there are a couple of scratches on my car from the person in the car next to me who had left before we returned, but I will have to look again at these.
Spaces could be a bit bigger as cars in general are getting larger these days.”
“The number plate recognition going in didn't work. We had to press for assistance. And coming out. We were in a queue of about 30 car where it wasn't happening to any of them. After a long day getting back. You don't need an extra half hour. Just getting out of the carpark.”
“Disappointing that it didn't recognise my vehicle details at entry and exit, had to wait for someone to come on the line and confirm my registration and name.”
“Pre paid our car parking for convenience, brilliant when we got there, however, upon leaving the barrier wouldn't lift. There is no buzzer for immediate contact only a telephone number. Rang the number given and a pre recorded message told us to ring another number. This was spoken so quickly that we had to ring twice to get the correct number. Once we got through the barrier was lifted.
I don't think the large queue of cars behind us appreciated this.”
“Good size spaces. Easy access to the terminal by bus or walking. We walked and it only took about 10mins. The only downside is that it is way more expensive than parking at Manchester Airport!”
