Upon arrival a ticket is issued for you to exit on your return This never works...doesn't recognise the number plate on exit although prepaid The last thing you want after a long flight is to be sat at the exit barrier waiting for someone to answer the phone so you can exit the car park This has now happened to me twice ( I like to add on different occasions in different make / model of car Pre paid Number recognisation needs to be sorted!!.

The car park is easy to find. It's about a ten minute walk to the terminal if you don't have much luggage and there are frequent buses if you do. We haven't had any problem previously but, on returning after our latest trip, we were dismayed to discover that our front number plate had disappeared. This caused a problem at the barrier as we tried to leave because the system was unable to automatically recognise our number plate. We struggled to find the call button to speak to a car park operative - it was dark and we were very tired - but once we did we were soon on our way home.

Not very happy considering It should have vehicle number plate recognition with barrier lifting automatic. That didn’t operate,so on return had to phone the assistant.

I have used car park 5 for a number of years and am satisfied with the arrangements the only glitch was trying to get out I had to press for help but it was solved quickly

On our prebooked arrival my Reg No was not recognised .The instructions were unclear whether I should take a ticket or not. Eventually I decided to take a ticket & sort any problems out on our return. When returning from holiday we found long queues at the exit. The Reg No recognition again appeared to be not working. It seemed each car was having to press the button for help. It took a few minutes to get an answer & in total it took over 20 minutes to get out of car park. It is not the first time we have had problems there but thankfully not to this degree. Hence the 2 star rating.

When you tell people that the number plate recognition will recognise your car and issue a ticket then that is what it should do but it was useless and left many customers confused and stressed had to use intercom call which the volume is much too low on to hear correctly to obtain a ticket to get out when returning and even that did not work and had to use the intercom again for the barrier to be raised things should work correctly but obviously yours do not with these issues corrected I would recommend car park 5 but with these issues very poor service and would not recommend car park 5
