“When we came back to the airport parking dim lighting took a bit find. Car then went to barriers. did not , auto identify the numberplate add to ring intercom for someone to let me out.”
“Entrance to the carpark was a painful experience, firstly car recognition did not happen for prepaid entry. This ended up with a long queue as everyone was requesting to speak to someone. Again going home barrier didn’t lift & had to make contact again, not great when you just want to be on your way”
“Convenient for terminals, plenty of spaces BUT a bit of a shock when on returning you insert your prebooked, prepaid ticket into the meter to be told you still have to pay £185!!!”
“Arrival at car park 5 was good, found a good space in a convenient spot.
Collection was not so good. Despite being well inside the time frame our ticket did not work at the barrier and we could not contact the control office. I reversed out and found others were having the same problem. One delayed guy tried again, and managed to contact the control office, so we and a couple of others followed on. We were unfortunately delayed for circa 25 mins.”
“Everything ran very smoothly and as promised, access buses etc., until I came to exiting the car park.
I inserted my pre-paid tick only to be advised I needed to pay. Now I am holding up other travellers wait to head home because I had to use the intercom, talk to an operator, advise him of my registration and wait while he checks my details before raising the barrier to allow me out.... otherwise, OK.
Would I use this car park again? Yes I would. KG”
“It's a car park. I booked in advance. Entry easy plenty of spaces, all marked up well. Good bus service but once you know the way it is probably quicker to walk. Then there was the leaving part. I had arrived back on the right date and time. Put my ticket in to the barrier machine to leave and the screen said I had underpaid by £183. Pressed the help button which consodering the wind blowing and my ears still blocked from flying, was inaudable. The queue behind me was now growing and after such a rough flight, I really felt like just driving through it in anger. Thankfully the guy on the other end of the call got the car reg and opened the barrier. Maybe just a glitch on that day but very frustrating after a long flight. I can imagine some people will just accept the message and pay up. Thst ammounts to nothing less than fraud and theft.”
“Disappointed they tried to charge us £213.00 extra after being a few hours late after our flight was cancelled and we had a taxi dash costing over £220 from Liverpool to Birmingham Airport car park 5. After a very stressful day it was another stress to cope with. Luckily after questioning the high cost I managed to get it reduced to £10. This was almost 3am in the morning after over 20hrs travelling. Apart from this the car park is close to the airport and easy to use.”
