“car park 5 is perfectly situated near enough to the terminal building to enable you to walk to your departure point in 5 to 10 minutes or there is a regular shuttle bus should you prefer. Parking spots are clearly marked and easy to identify upon your return. One problem we encountered was when we were attempting to leave the car park after our holiday, we inserted the card as instructed but the barrier would not raise, instead we got a message on the screen saying we owed £260 or thereabouts before we could get out. We had the embarrasing situation of holding up several other cars attempting to get out. A car in the lane next to us encountered the same problem. We pressed the button on the gate and finally spoke to someone who asked for our details and then raised the barrier and let us out. Will probably think twice before using car park 5 again.”
“Everything fine with car park 5 until we came to leave as the barrier wouldn't work and had to ask for assistance. This wasn't just us happened to other cars. This is the second time this has happened as we used it in November last year. Thought it would be sorted this time.”
“Have used twice now and will use again as very happy. Convenient and easy to access. Had slight issue on exit this time as exit barrier demanded excess fee of £182! even though I was still well within my precooked timing. However, this was swiftly dealt with through the barrier intercom and no payment was required. Thanks.”
“Very easy to find parked very easy and the only problem we had was when we came back on exit we put our ticket in the machine and it asked us for over a £180 fee , we had already booked and paid for our parking , we had to press the buzzer and confirm our registration and name with the attendant on the buzzer, this needs to be fixed as details say it is automatic number plate recognition.”
