Very disappointing for two reasons. Firstly, as predicted in the reviews we had read before booking, the exit gates DO NOT WORK! Practically every car we were waiting behind had a problem and so did we. Not only did the barrier stay down ('unknown ticket' message flashed up) but the intercom was hard to activate and the sound quality was poor. Secondly, the signage to find the entrance from the covered way is very poor. It was after dark, but even so much clearer guidance on where to get in and locate the row parked in needs to be provided. Paying £100+ for a week's parking is bad enough, but these problems when you are tired, it is dark and you just want to get home, makes the experience very, very poor. Given the huge profits NCP are making, is it too much to ask that the barrier operates as efficiently as it does on the drop off car park (and other retail parks) and that it's clear where you need to walk. Fortunately it wasn't raining or I would also be complaining that the courtesy bus was not in evidence either. Thank you for taking note of these problems!

The ANPR doesn’t appear to work, either at the entrance or exit, so you have to call for assistance every time. It did the same when I used the same car park last September. Saying that, the car park is in good condition and only a short shuttle ride away from the airport.

On the last 3 visits it has never recognised my car registration on the ANPR ! This causing frustration to me and cars behind on exit !!

The gate didn't recognise my number on arrival. When exiting the car park it appeared that the system wasn't recognising any numbers and everyone was calling. The help button volume was so quiet it was difficult to hear when it was in the automated phase. The button also acted as if someone was calling a call centre on a mobile and saying the call was important to them. I pressed a button, I didn't call! After a delayed flight, a delay to get out of the car park was not helpful.

Not given full stars as had issues getting in and out of carpark. It didnt recognise my car so had to get ticket. On way out still didnt recognise my car so put in ticket which wanted a £225 payment. cancelled the ticket pressed help the guy was very abrupt over the speaker asked me to remove ticket ( which was not in there) then he went, had to call again to say let me out. Barrier opened. Carpark great location, regular bus but easily walkable to terminal.

We had problems with number plate recognition both on entry & exit .. took a while for the call on system Otherwise very good Expensive in comparison to manchester airport

I did initially have a problem entering the car park but after a few minutes it was sorted . On leaving there was no problem and we sailed out. Very close to airport so easy for leaving and return. A bit dearer than other car parking but convenience and proximity I would recommend.

Pre paid for parking but after coming back from my holiday the anpr camera did not recognise my registration and had to wait for assistance .
