“It was the cheapest option and very convenient however communication is not a strong point. When I got to the cr park I was given directions to find a parking attendant and then catch the bus. It wasn't clear to me that the parking attendant was also the bus drive so I drove past him three times before someone from the entrance booth/office led me to where I needed to go nd proceeded to have an argument with the bus driver. When I headed to the bus, the bus driver decided to politely tell me off for going past him when he was right there.
The email instructions said to call a number to let the bus know you were at the bus stop but it took ages to get through and they did the busses come regularly anyway, so not sure if this would be best to be removed from the info email.
As I said it was an affordable option and very convenient to catch the bus right outside arrivals I just didn't have the best experience.”
“Close to airport, efficient staff, diy parking. It was dry when we were there, am guessing that it could become muddy in the event of rain. Transfer time good and efficient for both arrival and return. Would use again.”
“This place was so hard to find! The directions given did not help at all and the sat nav did not take us to the postcode given. We must have driven past the turn about 4 times before we eventually found it. There was no signage at all for it eg indicating where to turn etc. The only thing was a small advert on the nearby roundabout but this gave no information that the car park was close by, or which turn to take. Luckily we left enough time for delays and had no other delays at the airport.
Once at the car park, you have to drive through, and park in rubble. There was no lines to indicate the parking spaces which meant the few spaces left were very narrow and we were lucky to find one we could fit in. The rubble also meant we had to drag our suitcases through it. Dread to think what as mess it would be if it had been raining.
The positives were there was a bus waiting for us and it dropped us very close to the airport. On the way home we had to wait about 20 mins for a bus to arrive and our car was safe. The only saving grace was I was able to part pay with Tesco vouchers.”
