“Arrived to find no record of my booking, staff finally after 15 mins issued me with a manual ticket which it turned out was for the wrong car park!
So on our return to the UK we ended up on the wrong bus, when we told the driver our car was elsewhere he made us get off, wait for a bus back to the airport and we then had to argue with the driver of the right bus that our ticket may not say so but we did know where we had left the car!
Over 40 mins of out time wasted with no apology from anyone..”
“Have always used APH and then they moved.
Staff at new site seem to be resentful of customers booking through APH. And constantly tell you "we're not APH"”
“I’ve used APH for many years the orc processes have always been great, efficient no fuss and prompt.
However, this time not so slick, the guys on arrival were amazing, courteous helpful and with a smile.
I mainly used Hamms Hall in the past which is no longer so the alternative is Mackadown Lane, Greets Green, which is Airparks not APH, ( I know there the same company now, but ) it is self park which I didn’t particularly like as I had to walk quite a way to park and retrieve my car, luckily it wasn’t raining and the transfer is longer to the airport.
Furthermore, when we got to the stop to be collected on return, there was quite a queue, in the past no problem as the bus was APH now Airparks ? but people were confused as an Airparks bus pulled up so people in front of us started to get on, I asked is this going to Greets Green and it wasn't, now people were getting agitated as they had to get off again. Another Airparks bus pulled up shortly after and it was the correct one so we got on, the needs to clearer destination signage which would help.
The staff on arrival back at Greets Green again were polite, helpful and courteous.
I’ve only written this to help, not as a complaint but to point out that I have always trusted and felt secure and safe with APH I would hate for that award winning strategy and customer service to change.
People vote with their feet and quickly in this day and age of criticism and finger wagging.
