“Arriving on a very cold night at Birmingham Airport, a large queue had formed at the assigned airport bus stop. The bus arrived with a sign stating that Blue Pass holders only should board the bus. The bus was filling up quickly and some standing passengers causing congestion were informed by other passengers that there was seating space at the back of the bus. However, at no point did the driver check that all available space was used and the bus moved off with at least six seats at the back unoccupied, leaving some passengers to wait outside at the airport for the next shuttle arrival.
Upon arrival at the car park, outside lighting was poor and the bus driver merely pulled up at bus stops which were indistinguishable in the dark without announcement (or at least no announcements loud enough for passengers beyond the luggage racks to hear), disorientating passengers as they were uncertain which section of the car park the bus stops were for. After the first stop, a passenger had to take it on himself to step forward and relay the information to the rear section of the bus.”
“Excellent. Arrived and greeted by a super friendly chap who directed us to our parking spot. Decent size spaces. Bit of a wait for the bus but on and straight to the airport. There in few minutes. Return journey was busier...wait for the bus was very cold and very packed had to stand but only for few mins.”
