“Everything was fine. The only reason I gave just 4 stars is because when I came in at the barrier with my vehicle, the camera didn't recognize the number plate and I had to take a ticket from the machine so that the barrier could be opened. That was a bit strange I thought to myself... If I had already paid for the long stay in advance and given the number plate, it should have recognized it straight away and the barriers should have lifted automatically, but it didn't happen. The ticket was printed with hashes and not my number plate, indicating that it couldn't be read. I have to say that my vehicle has the number plate on one side and is not centered in the middle like most vehicles, but the technology should pick up the numbers wherever the plate is positioned in the front of the car. On my return from holidays, I knew the barrier wouldn't open anyway, so I had to speak to an agent from the car park through the intercom to let me out. Nevertheless, the overall service is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. I will use it again and I hope next year, they can sort out that little technology problem for the minority of people who have their number plates positioned in awkward places at the front of their cars, so the barriers can open automatically at the entry and exit of the car park.”
