“Buttons difficult to use for memory compromised elderly person. Tend to stick down if pressed too hard with resultant skipping of channels. If you don’t press hard enough nothing happens and a memory compromised elderly person thinks it’s not working. Odd button moulding as well which doesn’t help.”

We are sorry for the issue you faced with the buttons being difficult to use and tending to stick down. This isn't a problem we're aware of with this remote control, it may be a faulty controller or it might be liquid that has been spilled on the remote. If you continue to experience this issue with the remote and it's not due to liquid then please contact our customer service team who'll be happy to help investigate this further and look at replacing the remote if needed.

“Awesome concept and once set up a game changer -IF bought in time for a dementia sufferer to learn a new skill… sadly even 5 buttons have proven a challenge but I can see the benefits . General feedback would be slightly bigger button and writing for on /off. The buttons to be placed vertically so volume UP is up ⬆️ and down ⬇️ and not to the right etc which also causes confusion . Let the buttons say what they do . Amazing product though and wish had bought it sooner !”

“Brilliant option for my Mother-in-Law, who has Alzheimer’s and gets confused over the two controllers she has, for the TV and the Virginmedia box. This controller lets her change the volume on the TV and alter the program numbers on the Virgin TiVo box. Simple to program and works exceptionally well.”

“Works really well and very simple to use. Only one thing is would say needs to be added is a "dismiss" button as Sky have made it that when you turn on the Sky Box it goes to a Home page and you have to press the dismiss button to get off this and into Full screen.”
