“I purchased this flipper remote as a present for my grandmother who has dementia. I think it will be perfect for her as the remote only looks on first glance that it has 6 buttons: on/off; mute; channel up; channel down; volume up; volume down. Underneath a sliding compartment there are the buttons 0-9 which can be used to set up boxes etc so that the remote can be used with other devices. Having this out of sight will be a significant benefit to my grandmother. I cannot wait to give it to her for her birthday. The instruction manual it comes with is clear to read, and has little or no jargon (depending on your understanding of technology, and the amount of other devices you're using to connect together) but if you have a basic understanding it would be very easy to set up. The price was perfect as well, especially seeing as how it arrived the very next day, even when it said it could take a couple of days. I was very impressed. Thank you, because the website gave me ideas as to what to give my grandmother for her birthday but also because the item arrived so quickly. I will definitely be using the site again :)”

“Review of the Flipper Big Button Remote Control for Sky, Virgin, & Digital TV. This remote was purchased for my 80 year old Aunt who was confused by the existing Virgin Media remote control unit. Very east to set up, only took a few minutes - best thing is she LOVES it. No more selecting the wrong channel or accidently accessing sub menus that she cannot understand. Superb product matched by excellent service from AlzProducts. Highly recommended.”

“I only have experience of the Flipper big button TV Remote which seems a first class product. Using the standard remote to operate the STB and TV has become too much for my mother. Too often she gave up on trying to get the TV to work. This remote seems far more simple. She has found a way to undo the programming though, she turns the STB and TV at the main socket at night! I have put a note over the sockets now so fingers crossed. The other products in the range seem useful too. Now I am aware of your existence I may shop again on her behalf”

“Lovely remote control, bought for my frail and elderly mum who has very reduced dexterity in her hands and also her vision is less good than it was... The main reason for choosing this was the big buttons and reduced number of buttons to choose from. Other "big button" remotes have been too heavy for her to hold. She doesn't have Alzheimer's but does struggle with new technology and forgets things so the simplicity was another plus. It was a bit fiddly to set up because she has a particularly obscure set top box and it took a while to find the codes but its automatic code finder came up trumps and all is sorted. Mum was delighted - though has managed to un-sync it somehow a couple of times by being impatient and repeatedly pressing random buttons when the TV didn't turn on instantly.... Reset it easily and hopefully this will just be a teething problem.”

“How I wish I had found this product before. My dad has alzeimers and cannot use a remote control so he tends to press any button. With this remote he has no problems, the buttons are clearly marked with big enough writing for him to see. The setup was so simple, I cannot praise this product enough.”
