You can't fault their selection, which is wide and very well thought out. Great products and amazing prices; it's definitely a good combination. The only reason I cancelled my membership is that I found the fee a bit too high, but I will happily re-subscribe should it drop or if I come across an offer.

I bought shipton organic flour because I couldn’t find any in the shops that didn’t have added calcium carbonate, nicotinamide and thiamine. The Welleasy website listed the ingredients as simply “white wheat flour”. When it arrived, the ingredients on the actual bags include calcium carbonate, nicotinamide and thiamine. I know the law about adding vitamins to flour, but also know it’s possible to get organic flours without them. I thought this was one of those but it’s not, it’s the usual upf crap.

Fast felivery but slow dispatch time. Products are my regular products so no complaint there. The delivery box was too big for the amount of product I ordered which is a bit annoying as I don’t have anywhere to store the stock I’ve purchased. Prices really competitive for the products I ordered.

Really pleased with my first experience of WellEasy and I will definitely use them again. Like that free-from products in particular are much cheaper than in the supermarket and the range of products available is huge! Lots of new things that I am tempted to try...

I'm afraid I ordered Turmeric Active and received Turmeric, ginger and orange, without any explanation. I'm sure the ones we received are fine, but I ordered online because I haven't been able to buy Turmeric Active in the shops for a while.

Firstly please read my review as 2.5 stars, they are not as bad as 2 stars but not quite good enough at the moment for 3 stars. Read below to find out why. Ok, so my first thoughts on WellEasy (and clearly I have too much time on my hands today, hence the length) is that I think its a great idea and its nice to be able to order on line a lot of healthy and organic stuff in one place (or is it one place? - read further down to see what I mean). HOWEVER .... and this is a big however and needs to be considered! And its something I think is extremely galling, unwarranted and I expect stops a lot of people shopping with them (in fact I have tried telling 2 people about it but they completely scoffed at the idea of £48 membership and having to subscribe to products) - its also quite honestly unjustified as well, and whilst I will probably use them for the first year for now (as I personally will probably get some value out of it) there £48 per year membership is quite frankly SHOCKING !! And I will tell you why:- I emailed in and asked why on earth it was that I had to be forced into paying a membership fee in order to be able to shop with them, or, pay an additional fee of £8 per month to order. Their response is (and I quote) "that how WellEasy works is similar to somewhere like Costco or Amazon Prime." Um really !!? Exactly 'how?' I find myself asking ... because with Amazon Prime I pay £98 per year and get FREE DELIVERY (next day delivery by the way) on absolutely EVERYTHING (I thought they were introducing minimum order value of £20 to get next delivery but that doesn't seem to have happened but even if it did I could wait 2 days instead of one day). I am not forced to order £30 with Amazon Prime to get free delivery (wait, or is it £39 - see further below for clarification of why i say this). The exception to that is from other sellers who aren't part of Amazon Prime and some may charge delivery, but I don't buy anything on Amazon unless it comes under Amazon Prime. AND ALSO WITH AMAZON PRIME I also get:- a) Free returns on practically everything, b) Unlimited photo storage - and I mean unlimited, up to gigiabytes worth (think I'm up to 4GB already), c) 100 million free songs, d) Prime video with thousands of movies, and TV shows (albeit these now have ads), e) Free gaming if you're into that, f) free e-books occasionally g) literally Millions and millions of products shipped worldwide, h) lot of amazon products are also cheaper than other retailers, AND they do AMAZON prime days with great deals and discounts. i) their subscribe and save works perfectly, unlike WellEasys which needs lots of improvements, j) products listed on prime have lots of details about them whereas I find information on the products on WellEasy a little lacking. So they are literally an entire galaxy away from Amazon Prime. Indeed prime video and music alone (the free music one that is) is worth their fee alone. So, how is there any comparison compared to the meagre amount of products sold by WellEasy where you don't get free delivery unless you spend £30 or £39 is it ??. Honestly for the membership fee I would expect free delivery on everything at any time. And as for Costco, firstly again Costco as thousands more products (ranging from food, clothing to electrical appliances and reasonable/bargain prices) and the standard membership is £42 and you can walk into store and take away. They also do on-line now. In fact I can see no value whatsover to their membership fee, other than (like many other retailers) some of their prices are cheaper. There are also lots of other companies (I know because I also placed 2 other orders with 2 different online retailers, after searching many) selling similar products, none of which you have to pay a membership for, and they also do a rewards point system (one of which also gives you the sell by date which is great if you are buying something that you know will take you 6-9 months to get through, and some tell you country of origin which is important to a lot of people,). Again so why are WellEasy making you have a membership. It's not even like they price Match (I have asked this by the way but got no response on that). In fact my other 2 orders (with different online wholefood/healthy eating retailers) I was easily able to reach their £30 minimum order for free delivery with products that were cheaper than WellEasy, or were not available from them. If I could order more items (and WellEasy price matched) then maybe the £48 membership might not be so bad. Their adverts that keep popping up (even in last couple of days) all over youtube say its only £3 per month. These are clearly out of date and misleading, as its now the equivalent of £4 - I say equivalent, as it HAS to be paid in one fee at the start of your first order (or after your first month which you can have free), so its gone up from £36 a year to £48. THAT IS A WHOPPING 33% increase. And for what??? What justifies a 33% increase. There are also Discrepancies over delivery charges, as their website clearly has a banner saying free delivery over £30, but if you go into auto-ship it then mentions in the blurb below that you have to buy £39 a month for free delivery. SO which is it and what is the discrepancy here. Quite frankly I am left completely unsure how much I'm supposed to spend to ensure I don't pay delivery as well as their £48 membership. And if they email you to say there are some free gifts available today if you place an order by midnight, then that goes up to £50 minimum order or else you don't actually get the free gifts! Customer service I thought was great.... um .... at first. Possibly because I was a new customer. But I now have emailed in asking about their reward system points as that is ambiguous as to how and when I can use them and how much I can use per order or auto-ship and has gone unanswered, as has my email about a product that they said they would send a replacement for which has now been nearly 2 weeks, also my email asking if they price match has also gone unanswered. So now not quite so sure about their customer service. And the latter aren't emails I've sent yesterday - these are at least a week old and some longer. And apologies if the comments above sound a little sarcastic but quite honestly I still can't see any value in their £48 per year membership and I've listed out why so you can understand why I don't think they should be comparing themselves to Amazon Prime or Costco - other than 'some' of their products are cheaper than elsewhere. Maybe if it was £20 a year and they say they wont ever charge more than £2 delivery if its under a £30 order value, then it might be a bit more palatable. Or maybe if it was taken £4 a month wouldn't be quite so bad but a one off fee of £48 is a lot in one go. Ok, who am I kidding the membership fee of £48 needs to go !! On the PLUS Side though (yes there are some pluses), there are quite a lot of products that I will repeat buy, and many of which are £1 or £2 cheaper (if I buy at large amounts i.e a kilo or 2 of nuts or quinoa) in one go, but that may not be practical for everyone and some of them put me off buying because I dont use enough of quinoa to want to buy 500g or 1kg of it! And then I do have to way up their fee verses am I saving really if I'm paying the equivalent of £4 every month on their fee. I think at the moment I probably am still saving, hence I will try for a year. However bear in mind they are sometimes out of stock, do not actually stock that many products (I still have to use 2 other retailers and Sainsburys for my organic products), and also you will still be able to find a fair amount of products cheaper elsewhere (if you're prepared to do the work and shop around that is and order a minimum of £30 elsewhere). But of course if you want to order as much as you can, and you are vegan, organic or keto then this is still poss (exorbitant membership fee not withstanding) a good place to start. They do however say if you get to the end of the year and feel you haven't saved any they will refund the membership, but I find myself thinking how would you ever prove that ??? What will you need to do? ... take screen shots of all the products you could have found cheaper over the last 12 months when you were buying theme in Jan, or March or Sept for example? So I can't see that really happening. You can also get reward points for buying with them, your birthday and writing reviews, one of the reasons I will (reluctantly) pay the membership for my first year. If you're up for writing reviews (i've written about 10 so far, though can not see any of my reviews on their site (weird), though I have received the reward points so that bits good) so I will probably make up the membership fee in rewards for this year alone (why I am prepared to pay for it this year .. albeit still reluctantly). Though next year (as I will be repeat buying) I wont be able to do reviews as I will have already done them so may have to re-think for next year if its even worth it as I won't be able to make that back. OH, and you can even get £20 of reward points for recommending people (if they buy something that is) but I can NOT find anyone that wants to be stuck with auto-ship or wants to pay a membership fee of £48 for buying food !!! So good luck with that one. Also keep an eye on their auto-ship. Not all auto-ship come with a discount! And you have to remember to edit each auto-ship if you don't need that product so quickly. Their auto-ship (though I think they are aware and trying to improve it) is horrendous ! Its awkward to use and if you add something else on auto-ship you end up with a new auto-ship from that date - it does not automatically go into your existing auto-ship. At one point I had 4 auto-ships. Took me ages to work out how to change them, because if you 'skip' it, then it just goes to the next 4 weeks and still doesn't go into your existing auto-ship, you have to manually change the date and select your own date to the one which matches your next auto-ship. So I would say, do a bit of research first, to see if you really order enough of the products on line to see if its worth joining and actually save some money. As I said I think for me (for the first year anyway) it prob is. But not all their products are cheaper. Delivery is quite quick on the plus side. Think it was 2 to 3 days.
