“Was promised discount on $150 purchas (or more); bought, I think $185 of socks, no discount. Quality is quite ordinary. Thin fabric. Inferior to, say, Chaps socks by Ralph Lauren.”

Hi Thomas I am not quite sure what you are saying, surely the discount is shown on order prior to you paying? If you were not happy with the price why did you pay? You purchased lightweight dress socks, the USP of these socks are they are lightweight, wear well and a perfect fit, made in our UK factory by our staff who have been making socks since they were knee high to a grasshopper. Our socks have hundreds of 5 star reviews from people who were happy. Please feel free to email us and we will do anything we can to help you.

“Socks are too thick for their stated purpose. Also they are far too long. I'm used to "crew" heights which are perfect for me. These are more like knee socks. Disappointing. The colours aren't as vibrant as they could be. Somewhat muted compared to the pictures on the website. I'd be OK with that if they fit properly. Unfortunately, they have to back. Bummer!”

Hi Nicholas, Our extreme pro merino hiking socks are cushioned, so they are thicker than regular knit. We have sold over 20,000 pairs of these hiking/walking socks. You are the first to complain, Sorry we did not meet your expectation, Happy to refund if you return them to us as per our returns policy.

“Socks are nice but they didn’t arrive on time. I paid extra for express delivery but they were sent 2nd class. There was an apology but it makes no difference. Wasn’t offered refund for extra postage paid either.”

“Living in the Netherlands, the socks arrived in the post exactly one month after I had ordered them. I was prepared to wait, so I was not too surprised about the wait. However, I was informed that I would have to pay 17.50 to the post office (customs fees) before I would be given my package (of which I had paid 50.83 pounds). I find that an incredibly high percentage to pay on an order out of Great Britain. Very disappointed with Brexit! Had I been informed, my order would have been different. I may decide not to place any future orders. p.s. the socks are very nice.”

Hi Chris, So pleased to read you love your Yorkshire Socks. As for your disapointment in delivery times, apologies if they were held up at customs, we dispatched them the day after they were ordered. We are tiny company based in North Yorkshire, in all honesty we dont really know much about brexit/politics/Brussels/customs tarrifs etc etc we concentrate on our socks! So a little dissapointed to get a 2 star review (the only 2 star review ever!) when the socks are good as we always promise. Dont forget to turn them inside out and handwash or low temperature wool cycle only, no ironing or spinning either - and they will last you a long time. Best Wishes.
