“You asked. Here is the reply. I purchased Merino Wool Socks. I received Nylon and Merino Wool socks. I would not have bought nylon socks. I would have bought more Merino wool socks if they were Merino wool socks buy they are not. I will not be purchasing any more socks. Your loss. I will simply have to find another supplier who does sell wool socks. I am extremely disappointed. I paid a lot for wool socks, being happy to find a manufacturer in England, who used english wool - only to receive nylon and wool.”

“I ordered the socks on Saturday 9th November 2024 To day, Tuesday 19th November 2024 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM. & I am unable to track the order. You seem more concerned about receiving a survey than completing the order & satisfying the customer. I would like compensation for the dismal service I have received. I cannot rate your company You have received my money since 11th November”

HI, we did check your tracking number, and although they were slightly delayed, they did arrive within a week. Sometimes things go a little more slowly than expected, so apologies, whether it deserves such a low review I am not sure. Hope you have nice warm toes for Christmas!!

HI Eamon, You ordered a new design with a 67% discount for a pre-order offer which clearly said 6 weeks for delivery as they had to be manufactured. We delivered your socks on 31st May at 11.21am. This was the 3rd attempt at delivery. So maybe you were a little premature with your review but we hope you like them!!

You ordered a new design with a 67% discount for a pre-order offer which clearly said 6 weeks for delivery as they had to be manufactured. We delivered your socks on 30th May at 13.21pm.

“I used the sizing guide to order the correct sock size but unfortunately, when they arrived, they were much too large for me. When I enquired about a return, I received awful customer service from the "Chief Knitter". I explained that I'd like to request a refund due to the socks not fitting and her response was "They will fit well as long as you ordered correctly" and that they've been around for 100 years and because so, I must have been wrong about my shoe size. Their rude response was offputting and surprising. If you're not sure if these socks are right for you, I would recommend not bothering and ordering from another more helpful and polite company. What a shame.”

Hi Rose, I have checked our communication with you, apologies if you felt it was rude, I read it with a Yorkshire accent and it seemed pretty fair and helpful. Still no excuses if the socks were ordered correctly and you felt they were too big, send them back and we can send a smaller size or refund you, no problems. We manufacture in the UK strictly to British Standard Shoe Sizes, our socks fit pretty well compared to most, so unless we put an incorrect sticker on they should fit. If we made a mistake we apologise. Get in touch with us again and we will try not to be too 'Yorkshire'

“Order did not arrive despite phone call/compaint to YSC direct and to Evri. Order placed c. two weeks ago. Poor service so far - unlikely to use YSC again unless situation resolved. Would have thought in your interests to sort this as on line reviews are everything to a company like YSC.But don’t see any signs that you care so far - here’s hoping.”
