“I was an M&S man until they started selling rubbish clothes, I have been getting my socks from the London sock company for the last few years then someone on the Buy British Farcebook (spelt correctly) recommended THE YORKSHIRE SOCK COMPANY! They are the most comfortable socks I’ve ever had, I was on Parade today at a memorial service after about an hour my feet would be throbbing, well it’s now 9 hours and my feet are still cool and comfortable, I will definitely be buying more and I highly recommend these socks to anyone who suffers with their feet I’m 71 and an ex soldier so my feet are just wrecked but these sock are just the best EVER!”

“I am trying whenever I can to buy British made products so when I found the company I had a look through the website and ordered 3 pairs of socks. I absolutely love the alpaca wool pro walking socks, they are so soft and comfortable keeping my feet warm and dry whilst out walking with my dog throughout lockdown often for five hours at a time. I also bought the long cream boots socks and wanted some to wear with my wellies and again comfortable and reinforced. The third pair I thought I’d try were the British wool socks 90% blue faced Leicester. These came up in a different size structure and as I am a 5/6 I decided to go for the 3-5 after emailing the company. They do fit albeit a bit snug but the bigger size would probably swamp my feet. They are comfortable and I wear them either around the house or with walking boots and the reinforced foot pad is great and cushioning. I did have a slight issue with the pair as one of the socks had a couple of lines missing from the top so came up about a cm shorter than the other. I contacted the company and sent them back and they refunded the postage and sent out a new pair which again do differ slightly in length but nothing as significant. In summary, I would probably buy another pair of the pro walking socks eventually, maybe the knee highs but because of the sizing of the blue faced Leicester ones probably not although I do like the colours and they are comfortable but I don’t think they suit the sizing of my feet.”

“Great socks! My only complaint is I ordered two gift box sets and they came sellotaped up which meant I had to open them up to see the contents to make sure I gave the right gift to the right person and having to do this ruined the condition of the gift boxes....made them look 'second-hand!”
