Very insightful..I loved the speakers approach in delivering the teachings(empowering women in the team)more palatable and digestible as it didn’t seem so uptight and formal. Thank you for your free resources, I’m in a bit of a financial situation and I appreciate that I can still have access to education.Thank you.

As I am not in the veterinary area I attend the Cats Protection Behaviour conference each year and I also pick other webinars that are interesting to me and these are always of a high quality.

Hello Dr Lora Qais, Thank you for attending one of our webinars, we hope you enjoyed! I have checked our records and see that your CPD certificate was awarded less than 4 hours after the webinar ended. CPD certificates can be found by clicking your profile icon in the top right of the website and selecting "My CPD Records." I waited until I had used the site for a month to publish my opinion. It certainly has a lot of videos and podcasts, and I had a difficult time navigating and discovering what I really needed and was interested in. After a week or so, I became familiar with the site and began a couple of courses. CC caption is great, not perfect but certainly helpful when the veterinarian speaking is not so clear. Now I can say the site has everything I need and much more. Five stars, of course.

It's a very valuable resource which is much appreciated! Thank you, especially for providing free webinars, since affordability is a reality with part time working and rising costs of living. Areas I have found to be barriers in the past include:- 1. Not finding a comprehensive list of topics when I was a full member, but seemingly needing to browse through randomly to choose what to add to my watch list; 2. Time it took to populate a watch list owing to the above. 3. That you become saturated with the learning method and need a break from that approach. We're so bombarded with the digital world now, I have returned to reading hard copy and being able to see the layout of the topic before diving in to some extent, although reading, absorbing, making notes to evidence then reflect takes well over the time allowance allocated to reading articles and needs addressing. As well, with webinars and even in person lectures, notes and demands for reflection can detract from the learning itself! I appreciate the written transcript on the recent webinar so's I could made notes to aid reflection afterwards, enabling me to absorb the actual webinar - I have always felt comprehensive note taking whilst learning at the same time to be somewhat mutually exclusive, yet both are necessary to learn and reflect. 4. I couldn't work out how to easily upload my old webinar certificates to 1CPD, I had to screenshot then select the photo of that in the App. Sometimes Microsoft edge crashed and I couldn't download the certificate without multiple attempts. It's good that as a paying member there's apparently auto uploading now? Not sure how to do this as a vet accessing free of charge webinars especially when they're bite sized. Unfortunately I'm old school and most enjoy learning in researching info to fulfill specific case needs, when you don't want to time it and record reflect etc. Yet this is the most productive type of CPD and you remember it for the rest of your career without notes or reflection and it's satisfying and encourages further engagement. I will never forget attending a lecture on Strep dysgalactia involvement in joint ill in lambs and transmission via carrier ewes, as we had a client with a severe problem over consecutive seasons, and I was able to return, discuss the knowledge with them, which was well received and implemented, with the case numbers falling from many hundreds to about 10 the following season. That's how to do CPD: No recording, reflecting, timing, yet remembered forever. It was a free evening lecture at a VI centre too, they even fed us!🤣. Definitely a good index would be amazing - for instance, could I easily find an up to date review of joint ill in cattle and sheep in webinar form? Not strictly needed, but to illustrate the indexing point - Though I would watch, if it was free, certainly! I am contemplating the 30% off offer for either 10 webinars or the unlimited, but have already got a conference in place plus BVA subscription alongside an overdraft and being the part time sole earner now, in an era of corporate practices. Sadly I need to watch every penny of expenditure as self employed costs are high and I value professional and financial independence. The offer represents good value and is appreciated though. I couldn't contemplate full price membership whilst working as a part time locum. Hope this feedback is helpful! Thank you for the webinar provisions!
