“We had an excellent guided walk on the estate during Wolds Walking week. As part of the walk we stopped off for a superb pulled beef roll followed by great estate produced ice cream. The walk also included a great gin tasting session resulting in purchase of a couple of bottles of wonderful estate made gin. Fantastic afternoon”

“Wow what fantastic customer service. Arrived to collect my meat box. Was met by a lovely lady offering tea/coffee and a hue beef roll. We didn’t need lunch afterwards. We are using the meat later today.”

“The beef was excellent. When we collected it we were given a cup of tea and a hot beef roll which was an unexpected surprise but very welcome. It was a lovely place to sit and chat to other customers before we came home. The staff were very nice and welcoming. I would recommend it it anyone”

“I bought a box of the beef to try as we are following a lifestyle diet which recommends grass-fed beef and lamb. Packaging is great with it all being eco-friendly. I promptly defrosted the minute steaks which we had for dinner and i must say i thoroughly enjoyed. My wife is not a beef lover and commented on the taste which impressed me! You are what you eat is a maxim i've heard a few times and this meat is flavourful and tender and being grass fed i know it isn't full of antibiotics and additives used to fatten the cow artificially. We are having a joint today and am looking forward to it already. Mark is a knowledgeable guy and getting a coffee while waiting for my meat is very welcome!”

“Set in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, as far as possible every thing is locally sourced, reducing the carbon footprint. Lucky enough to do the estate walking tour, having purchased several bottles of the gin via post it was fascinating to see at first hand how the gin is made.”

The creative originality of the bottle design makes a superb gift and also made stunning centrepieces at our recent wedding reception! “Went to visit for a guided walk, and sampled the fantastic Lincoln Red beef as well as the gorgeous Massingberd-Munday gin. The gin is top quality, so ended up buying two (the standard Burrells and the limited edition orange Burrells) as we'd previously bought the pink. Love the ethos of the place, encouraging small businesses to thrive on the estate, and to run it all in a sustainable way. Looking forward to trying some Estate produced turkey next.... and maybe some more gin.....”

“Recently went on a walking tour around the estate stopping at the distillery for some gin tasting and the old school for a beef roll which were all delicious. Purchased 2 bottles of the Massingberd-Mundy gin which are some of the nicest gins I have tasted.”

“Easy to order online system. We chose to pick up our order from the walkers hut and were treated to a coffee while our beef box was brought out to us. Packaging was exceptional with ice packs and sheep wool padding, therefore the meat will always arrive in excellent condition. I have since used the wool padding in my garden as a environmentally deterrent to stop slugs and snails getting to my tender plants.”

“We attended a guided walk and it was wonderful. I love how they are trying to work with and support the community and environment. The hot beef role is fabulous and the gin is really tasty. I know have a few bottles!”

“I have bought the variety roast beef box, stew packs, mince packs and the latest is the turkey breasts all have been superb. The quality of the meat is fantastic. Only picked up the turkey breast yesterday and cooked it today to have cold with salad, unsurprisingly it was great. Picked at it when it was hot then had it cold, beautiful either way. Joined the guided walk the other week and thoroughly enjoyed it especially the visit to the distillery where we sampled some lovely gins (which my daughter bought as she enjoyed it so much).”

“Such a wonderful place, and right on our doorstep. We often order coffee, beef bap and flapjacks for when we've finished our walk on the estate, and it's always served with a smile and a friendly welcome from Paula. The gin is the BEST we've ever had and it's great when new flavours are released. We have just been on a guided walk around the estate taken by an extremely knowledgeable guide and it is really heartening to see how well the estate is managed, and how it strives to put the environment first. The turkey we had from the estate for Christmas was excellent, and also the mince packs from the Red Lincoln herd is of really high quality.”

“We did one of the 3 mile guided tours and had a great afternoon. The complimentary beef bap and their new custard flavoured ice-cream was just delicious. The award winning gin tasted amazing, bought a bottle of the Blood Orange on the day and just received my online order of Marie Jeanne’s Pink Gin. Great day guy’s!! Definitely worth a visit.”
