“The food is excellent, I've enjoyed everything I've ordered in my last 3 shipments. However, the delivery service you use (DPD) is not good. Two out of 3 shipments have gone to the wrong address despite delivery instructions on the box asking that they deliver to Brideoake Court and not Berystead Court.”

Thankyou for taking the time to leave us feedback. I'm sorry you felt the picture didn't reflect the product you received. I can confirm the Tart does mention the below: Oven Bake: Place onto an ovenproof dish & cook in an oven preheated to 220ºC/200°C Fan/Gas Mark 7 for approx. Twenty minutes. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.

“Sadly wasn't happy with our order. The goods (Canadian lobster) received were frozen dated as frozen in Feb 2024 with a use by date of Feb 2926, giving us just 3 months to consume, so it felt like this offer was simply selling off old stock 😞
Thankfully the customer service was very good when I logged my concerns.”

“We ordered haddock and plaice fillets which arrived on time and with excellent packing.
Whilst the haddock was excellent the plaice fillets were not as fresh as we would have liked. Whilst is was well edible it was beginning to develop a fishy smell and the orange spots had almost faded away.
Is there a day that I should order to ensure absolute freshness?”
“The cod was nice but was not as fresh as the last lot of cod we had we cooked one piece about a hour after delivery friday and we still can`t get rid of the smell now it now monday .Our son is a head chef and he smelt it and said it was`nt that fresh it should not smell when cook sorry to say”

“Claws were very dirty on outside gave impression of lack of care. Quality of Crab was fine but big Price jump from previous supplier so No Thank you Regal Fish.”

“Mixed experience so far .
My first order a month or so ago had excellent fresh trout fillets and sea bass fillets. However, the packs of 2 haddock/cod portions with flavoured sauce were disappointing with the fish portions differing in size and thickness, one a terrible skinny tailend with little meat on it. Service has been ok.
I made a second order on 15th January, at which time the reward points for my first order were not showing on my account. Just a kilo of fresh trout fillets this time.....not so good as the first trout fillets I received....some of the latest order were breaking up and not nice firm flesh...result of rough handling in preparation?

“Product arrived on time , well packaged and as I expected tasty , however , the price was more than I am willing to pay for a regular delivery . In addition I'm not confident that the packaging is environmentally sustainable”

In regards to the sustainability aspect of our packaging, our insulation is 100% Pure Wool & is a super-smart natural insulator, this is completely compostable, both at home and in an industrial composting facility. Remove the plastic outer and put the wool into your garden/bio waste bin. Our wool is washed, scoured and processed. It can go into the same waste stream as compostable film and garden waste.
