“Light brown Creostain ! sprayed out perfectly. Ive noticed how the rain beads up on the surface. The decking and handrails had faded from new to nearly white. This restored the colour perfectly. Sprayed all handrails and decking and all resored to new again.”

“The post savers have basically doubled in price in a couple of years. The pricing has now got to the point where they are not viable to use. a)Pro Wrap Large wrap (to fit 150mm /6" round post) - price £5,82 each (April 2024) b) Pro-Sleeve Size 7 (to fit 150mm /6" round post) - purchased Quantity: 14 at £41.66 - price £2.97 each (02 August 2021) (Note: non of these prices included postage!)”

Hi Jamie, Thanks for your review and sorry to hear your frustration with our price increases over the last few years. As you've noted the Pro-Wrap large is actually a new and different product to our older Pro-Sleeve variant. This was introduced to make it easier for our customers to position the protector on the post as we had feedback that the Pro-Sleeve's were often challenging and hard to slide onto posts (especially larger ones) – hence the development of Pro-Wrap's 'wrap, peel and stick' system. The addition of the tape to the new Pro-Wrap product has however added some cost. Combined with unfortunate raw material price increases due to Brexit this has resulted in a more expensive product as you've identified. We still believe that with our 20 Year post replacement guarantee this represents good value for money and a better application experience for our customers that's worth the extra cost but I'm sorry that we weren't able to meet your needs in this process. “We bought these in 2020, they were sleeves and we were very pleased with them, thats why we ordered again. These new ones are not sleeves and we found them difficult to deal with. I dont think they are as good as the old ones we had.”

“I used this product for the first time on smaller 2x2 post ( not 3 or 4 inch post as norm ). On reflection ( and talking to postcsaver ) I should have cut them in half and wrapped them around just once not twice. You DO need a roller to firm down the sleeve as you heat it. Having now used the product and better understand how it works, I would buy and use these again.”

“Second purchase, and I doubt it will be my last. Excellent price, at £6 cheaper than Wickes for the same item. (Not similar) It would also be a 70+ mile round trip to my nearest Wickes , which is the only place I have been able to find this product. Nothing local. Delivery included to Scotland, which also saved the cost of petrol, and having to lift, and carry the containers myself. Nice to support a Gloucestershire Business as well, as my wife is from Gloucester.”

“The Fence Armor – 5 x 5″ Post Trimmer Guard works great on a rectangular post of 5x3" with 2 pieces overlapping. My only complaint is that you don't supply the appropriate screws with the Guards. I had to buy a pack of 200 to do what needed just 28.”

“I have just discovered this product after my original posts rotted out and blew down after only ten years, with its twenty year guarantee and easy application I am hoping this will be a longer term fix. An inexpensive easy addiition and fast delivery makes this a near perfect solution for wooden fence posts”

“delivery was good and on time use of the heat gun in the postsavers needed practice to avoid burning through but was ok after a couple of tries obviously time will tell how effective they are”

“I have ordered Postsever products a number of times and have always been happy with their service, products or refunds. On one occasion the courier service they contracted for delivery was abismal, but a call to Postsaver and 2 hours later...delivery.”
