Product is brilliant but slow delivery by DPD local reduced the experience. Please use a different delivery company.

I think postsaver is a really great idea and I was sold when the team appeared on Dragons Den. My only issues is that i wanted to buy the 700mm versions that are only apprently available to trade customers. I rang and asked if there was a way for me to do this but no one came back to me. In the absence of the 700mm version I was told that I could use two sleeves. However, in practice this didnt work so well. The seam on the first sleeve got in the way of the overlapping sleeve and I was concerned that if i tried to shrink the overlapping sleeve onto the first I would make a hole in it (which did happen on one occasion). I have another project coming up where I once again will need to protect the post from rot. Unfortunately, I think I will be exploring other options.

The post savers have basically doubled in price in a couple of years. The pricing has now got to the point where they are not viable to use. a)Pro Wrap Large wrap (to fit 150mm /6" round post) - price £5,82 each (April 2024) b) Pro-Sleeve Size 7 (to fit 150mm /6" round post) - purchased Quantity: 14 at £41.66 - price £2.97 each (02 August 2021) (Note: non of these prices included postage!)

Hi Jamie, Thanks for your review and sorry to hear your frustration with our price increases over the last few years. As you've noted the Pro-Wrap large is actually a new and different product to our older Pro-Sleeve variant. This was introduced to make it easier for our customers to position the protector on the post as we had feedback that the Pro-Sleeve's were often challenging and hard to slide onto posts (especially larger ones) – hence the development of Pro-Wrap's 'wrap, peel and stick' system. The addition of the tape to the new Pro-Wrap product has however added some cost. Combined with unfortunate raw material price increases due to Brexit this has resulted in a more expensive product as you've identified. We still believe that with our 20 Year post replacement guarantee this represents good value for money and a better application experience for our customers that's worth the extra cost but I'm sorry that we weren't able to meet your needs in this process. Many Thanks, Ed

We bought these in 2020, they were sleeves and we were very pleased with them, thats why we ordered again. These new ones are not sleeves and we found them difficult to deal with. I dont think they are as good as the old ones we had.

Over this weekend I went about installing my 4 Oak posts with my postsavers and the 6’ fence armour . The postsavers were fine , but the fence armour !. Firstly they had all been wrapped in 2-3,” wide cellotape which simply would not come off And as you will see below offered zero protection . In the end I used goo gone liquid to remove it over a period of two hours peeling and rubbing it off . Then , when I had remove it I found the outside facing edges of the stainless steel scratched and scraped as if they were rejects or seconds . If I was cynical , I’d say the cellotape had been applied over zealously to hide the scratches as you could not see them until it was removed . Just saying , but Pretty irritated over the weekend to be honest and quite disappointed in the poor armour finish , which has marred the entire look of the lovely Oak posts in situ

Creostain Light Brown is a good price but as I have previously used Creocote in the past I find it does not cover as well. So in future I think I will Creocote and pay a few pounds more. Although delivery was free it did arrive 2 days later than advised using DX carrier. I was not impressed .

I bought 7 4" x 4" ball finials. They seemed damp so I put them out in the sun for a couple of days to dry. I had to fix the ball to the square cap and did this with glue. I then fixed the cap to the concrete fence post with epoxy resin glue. I then stained them grey to match the fence and they look fantastic - just what I wanted as I don't like plastic. They have now been out in the sun for about a week and the caps are already warping, curling upwards. I will see what happens as the summer passes but I'm just hoping they don't get any worse as with the very strong glue they would be very difficult to remove. Unfortunately, I do not have the technical ability to upload a photo.

It's been about five years since I used your post wraps in significant amounts, but extra fencing on our smallholding has become necessary again. I was surprised that the long rolls of material were no longer marketed and I would be wasting unnecessary use to cover small diameter round posts. I also was a little miffed by the fairly tightly folded sheets which did not conform easily to round posts. Hard to get a nice tight fit without resorting to the trusty staple gun! Sorry to be a miserable old chap but that is the way I see things. If I was using square posts maybe there would be less agro?! Best regards Brian Tarmar

Great product and service - courier was poor and delivered 24 hrs later than they originally informed me. 3 hrs wasted and had to change my plans the next day when they only gave me short notice the next day. Couldn't contact them by phone or text - no apology from them for delay or inconvenience!

Bought the 20l dark brown creosote and the recommended sprayer. Sad to say found this to be a very messy job, the creosote is very thin and the sprayer leaked like a sieve. Had to finnish the job with paint brushes and still ran like water. One good thing our parth is a nice color. Would we recommend sorry no.

Post saver were great in despatching and the product is a long term product, so time will tell? The only issue being the courier in this area “APC” are a nightmare in delivery issues! 🤬🤬🤯

Beware! The sprayer sent was not the one advertised product. It was an inferior quality, which I could of bought at a cheaper price. However all my order arrived promptly.

Supposed to be next day delivery but did not arrive until the fifth day. Box had been bashed and some paint had been chipped off the steel. I understand that the problems were probably caused by the courier service but made the whole transaction unsatisfory.

Found it hard to get the air out of it when putting them on. But couldn't fault the quick delivery.

Hi Andrew, Was this when using square posts? If it was you are always best to use a foam roller to roll each side as you go to ensure a good seal to the post surface + remove air bubbles. You can learn more in our newly updated application videos here: https://www.postsaver.com/support/guides/apply-postsaver-sleeves/ Please get in touch with us at support@postsaver.co.uk if this does not answer your issue about removing the air and we'll do our best to understand why it happened and make sure it doesn't happen again for you in the future. Best, Ed
