I received email confirmation the item had been despatched, although when followed up, the item wasn't even in stock so there was a delay in receiving the order. Slightly confusing.
However, I had a polite and professional email to explain the reason why this had happened.

“Ordered a new flow valve for a Stuart & Turner pump. There was a slight issue with selecting / payment for the item. I decided to become a first-time user of Amazon Pay for an online order outside of Amazon. I don't know if it was Amazon or Plumb 2 U but the website seemed to freeze so wasn't sure if the item was ordered or not. It took the weekend to sort it out but Plumb 2 U were very good at sorting it. I also had a concern that the blister pack of the valve kit was open, partly assembled and some items were loose in the envelope. All items appeared to be there and unused however. Fitted the new valve which for a DIY person was quite easy. The price for the valve was very good it being on sale.”
“Bosch easy control, very competitive price,did have a problem where a password had previously been entered,(possible testing)but with the help of Worcester was able to set it up.”

“Easy online ordering, good price. I chose the click and collect option and although on a large industrial estate, locating and parking near the unit was a little difficult. Picking up the one item I ordered was fairly simple although they didn't seem that geared up for click and collect. Four stars, because for my experience everything was fine, one star knocked off because not sure it would have been that easy if the click and collect order was for a lot of items, in which case I would probably recommend to have the items delivered.”
