Not only is it great for beginners but as one progresses it makes you think about the cards, numbers, values and what opponents may have and where. The daily games keep the mind active and the topic list helps with updating a subject.

This website is a tremendous way of learning bridge, especially if your focus is on ACOL bidding.

This website has helped me tremendously with learning bridge, especially when tackling one subject for a period. It has been fun to use and easy to pick up whenever I have a spare moment. However since the new layout I have found it more difficult to use and hence have not turned to it nearly as often as in the past. I am sorry about this.

The hands of the day and the quizzes are very good at maintaining the level of bridge I play at. Some of the advice in the handouts is different from what I was taught in bridge class and different from articles by Mr Bridge so I tend not to use them much

As a beginner I am finding the tutorials very useful and the quizzes are a good idea being able to repeat them at leisure

It tells me if I bid something wrong what I should bid after giving me another try and why I was wrong

It has been useful during lockdowns to be able to keep up to date with bridge play.

have learnt a lot from the tutorials. Enjoy doing the multiple-choice quizzes on a Sunday. However, I usually only get an average score

The No Fear Bridge site has enabled me to learn, progress and enjoy bridge. Just a thought though where you have planning the play for declarers it would be great if you could do the same for the defence.

I use No Fear Bridge mainly to play the ‘hands of the day’. This helps giving me practice, as declarer in playing the hand. The solution is always well explained and therefore a very good teaching element.

This is not a big problem and I appreciate would be a big job to harmonise all the screens perfectly but am regularly surprised when on a new subject it is necessary to learn anew how to make the latest screen work. I have enough trouble with the Bridge never mind how to operate the screen!

I have been sharing my wife’s membership for a while now, but after the two week free trial and really enjoying the live bridge sessions I am joining to have the full benefits of this site.

Really good site for teaching bridge and practising what has been learnt in the lessons. The audio tutorials are very helpful but sometimes the audio is missing on my device. The daily hands are also very helpful but occasionally when played alongside the commentary, the wrong card is flipped up by the computer and the solution is, thus, not clear. I appreciate very much the incremental way in which the tutorials build up though I confess to wanting to rush over items I feel confident in - sometimes a mistake. Repetition is very important to cement the rules. I have played very basic bridge in the past but wish to improve. I shall need more 1 to 1 lessons but this is a great start. Occasionally the website is clunky when trying to recover a page which you have been working on or returning to a menu page.
