Helpful to me. Started learning Bridge about seven years ago. Still learning. I find as time goes by, I can now solve the games and use the other lessons, etc. Spend many happy hours on No Fear Bridge.

I love NFB, and try to practice playing hands each day. One thing I would like to see is more Tips of the Day on the home page as are quite repetitive.

It would be helpful if you could type in a question and be directed to area which covers the query

As in any activity, sport or otherwise, "practice makes perfect". Just don't expect to be remotely perfect! However, by playing the daily hands in No Fear Bridge, a member can obtain the practice at different levels of complexity that will make him/her a better player. The Handouts and Tutorials also allow the member to study more complex aspects of Bridge and can be referred back to when inevitably a member forgets the finer points. At c.€1 per week, there is no better value in the Bridge world.

I have enjoyed using No Fear Bridge. There is a wealth of information on the website and lots of quizzes to try. My only criticism is that on first glance the website is a little confusing due to the large amount of information there. Perhaps the “tabs” could be improved with overall sections for beginners, improvers etc and then sub sections with the different modules available

Hi Kate Thanks for your review. Please contact us at help@nofearbridge.co.uk so that we can find out more about the display problem on your computer and help you with this. No Fear Bridge is designed to run on all types of devices, not just mobiles. It could be that you just need to change one of the display preferences. Best Regards Leigh

I would like exercises on how to place cards in the opposing hands. Professionals always seem to know where the cards lie and how many cards are in each suit.

Hi William Thanks for your feedback. For practice on placing cards in the opposing hands when you are declarer I recommend playing hands that are grouped under the topic called "Card Reading". I suggest start with the simple ones at Level 2 and you with find a further 66 hands at Level 3 and a few more in the Advancer Zone. For practice placing cards when you are defending look for the topics: Clues from the Bidding Clues from the Play and Counting Cards and Counting Tricks Best Regards Leigh

Very helpful. I enjoy tje quiz but would like it better if the bidding could carry on to the final bid.

Unfortunately I have only had time to look at a few of the ilustrations. But found that they were clear in their projection of the subject.

I find NFB very helpful and use it regularly to keep my bidding and play skills up to scratch. It's easy to use and very user friendly.

I have not used the site often, but as well as my usual bidding practice, I often try something new and it is always interesting and helpful. Haven't yet found where I can bid and play the same hand but sure it is there. Just wish I had more time to use it. Thanks

No Fear Bridge was a huge help when I first started to learn, giving me practice opportunity (a) without the need to meet up with three other people (b) at random short periods of free time and (c) without making an idiot of myself in front of others. I still try to do the hands of the day as my card playing is far from intuitive and I need all the practice I can get.

The program has kept me thinking in a 'bridge' way through lockdown when the club closed for a while. I enjoy the challenge of the quizes and playing out the daily hands and/or the random hands. i'm a little frustrated by the lack of consistency in use of transfers.

Hi Barry Thanks for your feedback. Just to clarify re transfers: we use transfers in all the activities at Level 2 and above. Transfers are not used in Level 1 (beginners) activities. Best Regards Leigh

It's the best online with a good variety of topics. I love the beginners quiz and am always very annoyed that I can't get 10! We have friends we play online with, and I also attend a bridge group. The teacher will sometimes go over a convention, and then give us arranged cards to practise that. Otherwise we play social bridge.
