I think it’s a great aid for a novice player and a great learning tool. The best I’ve seen on the internet

Very easy to navigate, with excellent commentary on hands. Playing the hands is a must to plan your play and defence and helps tremendously when playing live.

I have started and stopped plying bridge several times, but this time I feel it's continuous and No Fear Bridge has certainly helped me to understand several things that I have never done before. I am still very much in the learning stage and look forward to progressing over the next few months.

It is helping me to learn the basic rules of the game and to recognise what the cards are telling me eg when bidding. It is helping me to integrate the rules into my game. It is helping me develop my skill in playing the cards.

It is difficult to find an entry point as a player who has played a little. I think a set of questions to estimate your level . I wanted information on doubles and l found it confusing. Overall l like it .

No Fear Bridge is excellent. I have been playing for less than 1 year and No Fear Bridge was recommended to me by my teacher. I have barely skimmed the surface and so far have confined myself to the quiz section. I can now answer 59 out of 59. Only about 2000 left to go. 😀 Parts of the game of bridge do annoy the hell out of me. 12 to 14 for example. What is the bloody point when everyone knows anyway, and what's it go to do with your opponents? Humbug. Having to show someone a card with the word stop written on it. More ridiculous than words can convey. Beyond silly. When you make a bid at bridge you hold up a big card with a picture of a heart on it and the number 3 even bigger. (for example) I was playing poker last week and the bidding went like this. "One pound", "Two pounds", "Five pounds", "STOP FIFTY POUNDS". Everyone jumped up started shouting at me. "What are you playing at, you idiot". If the bids at bridge were verbally announced then just possibly there might be an excuse for this nonsense. But they are not. The bids are large and displayed on a card and if you can't see them then you shouldn't be here. Transfers. Don't get me started. Double. I have found seven versions of this nonsense on YouTube. And as for the online scoring. Oh god, I've got somewhere to go tomorrow, so I'd better not start. Last week playing in North and South, my East and West opponents won the contract. 2 Diamonds. The failed, taking only 7 tricks. The score!!!! 100% for them and 0% for us. Go figure. I think I've said enough. No Fear Bridge is terrific. I will probably renew next year, although if I don't I promise to to go "STOP" cancel. Merry Christmas to you all. 😀

I find the site great for learning modules but not for practice. I use a different site for practice games as I can go on anytime and not restricted to particular times

Hello Leigh, I am also representing 3 other ladies that I played with this morning. And here's our review, All of us are enjoying the practice games, it helps with confidence in playing, it's another opportunity to meet and play interactive game where we can discuss / share with real people and see their faces. One request is for a game at the weekend if that's possible. Thanks for organising these games which we're enjoying immensely,. Bernadette Campion.

This is just an excellent programme. Although I have played Bridge for many years now, I find it superb for filling in the (many) gaps in my knowledge. I still have much of the website to explore.

I take a lot of long holidays and, as a beginner, No Fear Bridge allows me to keep practising while I’m away. Then my partner is still happy to play with me when I return. If I didn’t have this, I would probably give up on bridge.

I like No Fear Bridge as it helps me as a beginner. I like the bidding quiz, and the regular quizzes.

NFB is absolutely brilliant. No other platform allows you to see the whites of your opponents eyes and their expressions while playing - very important! The closest thing to face to face, and excellent on dark wet evenings! More evening sessions would be good.

There are very good tutorials on various aspects of bridge. There are hands to play to practise key processes. Hands can be replayed with help from notes. I use the site a lot to help improve my bridge.
