“Tastes like apple cider vinegar with hint of ginger burn. Not for me thanks and think overpriced. ( trying to compete with alcohol prices)”

Hi Ash - I am really sorry to hear this. Please can I check you gave the bottle a really good shake, this makes a huge difference to the taste and the consistency of the product itself. Thank you for leaving us an honest review, it would be good to hear if you had shaken the bottle.

“You need to double the amount to get the ginger kick - so 50ml rather than the 25ml advertised, plus smell and taste of vinegar still overpowering and ruins the experience - even when adding lots of ice and citrus , as advised. It gives you heart burn due to the vinegar. The menu included is a nice touch. Disappointing for the price. 10 drinks maximum out of a bottle that costs £30 (with postage), if you like a strong taste/kick. The new bottle design makes it feel cheap. I had high hopes after reading the reviews, but for the price, sadly disappointed. I’d achieve the same result making my own ginger shot and adding ice and soda water - plus way cheaper. Don’t waste your money like I did.”

“Ordered one of each and preferred the marmalade but have found it impossible to order more. When questioned why I was told they were making more. That was 2 months ago and still can’t get it. What sort of company is this? Don’t they want to make money.”

Hi Tina - Thank you for taking the time to review. Sorry to hear you are disappointed in regards to ordering our Marmalade Switchel. Our Marmalade Switchel is a limited edition product, but we are bringing it back! We produce it annually in the Seville Orange season (so are starting now on the next production) and are due to release 2024 Marmalade in June.

“Not sure what I’m missing here looking at all the other reviews! Received mine this week and tastes more like Kombucha, really unpleasant taste :( Not sure if I have a dodgy batch”

“Quite disappointed with this drink. Found it too vinegary. I purchased this product as I love ginger in drinks and food stuff. But unfortunately I could not detect much ginger! Afraid I will not be purchasing this product again”
