“Packaging was a little ott, probably quite expensive, can I return the consertiener part to you for reuse? Lovely drinks, hit the spot nicely! I'm gifting them this Xmas!”

Thanks for your review Caroline, and so pleased you'll be sharing as Christmas gifts! Our packaging is in place just to prevent any damages, as it's a glass bottle without the sleeve over the bottle we could have breakages. The packaging is recyclable, but we don't currently take it back but it's a great idea that we think about how we could manage.

“Delicious alternative to alcohol, feels like a treat definitely a proper drink for a grown up at the end of a tough day but with none of the downsides. I’m loving the ginger but also intrigued by the marmalade which I’m intending to try next. Thank you for a lovely product, I’ll definitely be buying again.”

“Like someone else said it must be an individual taste bud thing but for me the vinegar was too strong and it left a disgusting after taste. Bit gutted that I’ve just wasted £30 on something that will now go down the plug hole.”

Thanks for your review Anita. We're sorry it wasn't to your taste. Would you be able to email us at hello@motherroot.london to understand in more detail. There are many ways to drink Mother Root, I like it very strong so use 50ml per serving, but I know others prefer a weaker mix with 20ml. We also have a variety of recipes so you can try it in many different ways. We also recommend giving the bottle a good shake before drinking to make sure everything is mixed together.

“Maybe it’s a taste bud thing as so many others loved this drink, but for me the vinegar element was too much and left an after taste. Loved the bottles, great delivery & excited about the bitter sweet no alcohol concept but this one’s not for me.”

“Ordered the ginger switches taster pack after seeing on Saturday kitchen. Was absolutely delighted with the taste and also the health benefits and have now subscribed for regular delivery. Wish you did a taster in the marmelade one as its expensive to buy the bottle and find its not to your taste. X”
