“I bought a Fluval Edge from Lincs Aquatics in May 2022. From the beginning the pump kept stopping, sometimes every day! I contacted Lincs Aquatics and Arran replied and said to remove and clean the propeller, which I was already doing. It didn't make any difference, the pump was obviously faulty. I contacted them again, twice, and received no reply. Then the pump stopped altogether and I couldn't get it started again. As it should have still been under warranty, i tried to contact them again and then gave up as worried about losing my fish and bought another pump, at a cost of £40! Low and behold, it's working fine! I will NEVER buy from the company again as they wouldn't uphold the warranty.”

“Ordered what I thought were pebbles but turned out to be more like gravel (my goldfish have twice got a small piece of gravel stuck in their mouths - very scary) so called the shop. The chap I spoke to was super helpful. He found me the right product and we are arranging a swap. Also really impressed with the faux plants I got.”

“Online store said Instock got an email the next day or so to say that was incorrect (this didn't bother me so much) so I was advised that it SHOULD be about a week, I then had to email to get an update on whether it was going to be in or not and what the status of the order was, was told still waiting for part then emailed again a few days later took 2 days to get back to me with we are expecting it any day (still no clear date given) then I called them left my name and number as it was after half past 4 expected a call back (this never happened I'm still waiting a week later) got a random email to say it had been despatched, overall I think whoever the customer service agents are need retraining on how to look after customer and also the managers need to be keeping a closer eye on what's happening, the owners then need to be keeping an eye on whoever is looking after this department as I won't shop here again as if this (my first) experience is anything to go by I would hate to see what the attitude is all the time”

“I ordered my aquarium, I was given a day for the delivery, and a estimated time. The driver phoned to say he was only 10 minutes away. When it was delivered he brought it inside and opened the box to check it for damage, everything looked fine. I set up the aquarium the following day and it is running perfectly.”

“Don’t order from them. The website stock is misleading at best and likely a blatant lie. Ordered a small tank in stock on their site for next day delivery. Waited a few days didn’t hear anything. I called and got told the person I needed to speak to wasn’t in. The person in the shop couldn’t help at all. Then got an email a week later saying it would be 2 weeks as they’re not in stock and coming from Germany. I have written several times since and nothing. It’s now three weeks and I’ve requested updated and now a refund as I got the tank elsewhere. Save yourself the drama and heat ache. Their communication is terrible and they claim to have items in stock simply to get the order. They go silent if you ask for a refund. Still waiting.”
