Very poor customer service: I purchased a new large aquarium base. I was called on the delivery day by two different people saying they had a pre assembled cabinet available. I stated as long as it was new they could deliver it; no one would be onsite as it was the weekend. What arrived was a dingy, dusty, greasy fingered covered, used cabinet that had two broken doors. We have cctv and it clearly shows the state at arrival. I called Lincs and complained about the state of the cabinet and I got nothing but lies, how I was told it was a used display etc. I said that I gave permission for a new assembled cabinet to be delivered as we paid full price for a new cabinet. When I mentioned the cctv, they said they would replace and collect the damaged cabinet. A week on the cabinet was collected and flat pack delivered. There was no delivery confirmation. Won't be ordering big items from Lincs again.

Poor communication. Confirmation e mail stated Thursday delivery.. item didnt arrive Thursday. Also should have recieved an email the day before and didnt get one. Was knocked up at 830 am with the delivery on Saturday morning with no warning . Apart from that OK

The product I wanted, a pond base, which delivered quickly at a good price. I was buying online and there was an issue with the website. I had to phone the company to be sure that this was resolved. Their response was good, the resolution was quick. Nevertheless, it was an extra effort.

I chose weekend delivery but it arrived on a Wednesday delivery driver was rude and unhelpful had to be left outside in the rain until someone came home to help me take it inside

I ordered a Fluval aquarium from the Lincs Aquatics website at a saving of around £30 from other online companies and the promise of free delivery by pallet. On the day that delivery was due I'd heard no confirmation details and the website was down so I phoned and asked for clarification re my order on Thursday 28 Oct. I was then passed to Dave in dispatch who claimed that free delivery couldn't be honoured to my address and I would have to pay £40 extra. Rather than delay delivery I reluctantly paid the extra £40 on the phone. Subsequently, I received an email message that delivery was now scheduled for the following Tuesday. A little later that afternoon I received a phone call from dispatch asking about whether I wanted a walnut veneer cabinet. I was stunned and said no I had ordered a black tank and cabinet. I sent an email to the company to reiterate my order was for a black tank and cabinet. Then I received an email saying a black tank had been dispatched by TPN. Imagine my complete surprise when Andy the delivery driver sent me a message the next day, Friday 30 Oct to say delivery would be made around noon! The tank and cabinet (both black) duly arrived safely that day. I must say I'm puzzled about the surcharge for delivery which was expedited very efficiently by the carrier. So a rollercoaster of a review and eventually Lincs Aquatics got it right apart from the carriage surcharge! If all had gone smoothly they would rate a 5
