About Lee Mill Fabrics:

Lee Mill Fabrics is owned and run by Mike Griffiths who has been selling fabric for over 50 years to a wide range of customers; from professional and amateur dressmakers, upholsterers, local businesses through to television studio's.

We have two shops in Swansea. 213 Oxford Street which caters for dress fabric and 220 Oxford Street which caters for curtain and upholstery fabric.

“I've been buying fabric from Lee Mills for over 30 years, they have an enormous selection of fabrics to choose from. I recently ordered fabric using the online store as it was a Sunday, I wasn't going into town until the Friday and was impatient. I should've waited because when the fabric arrived it was, unfortunately, too light in colour... it's hard to tell the true colour online. I checked the return/exchange policy before taking the fabric to the shop to exchange for a suitable colour. The lady in the shop told me they didn't do exchanges on online purchases so I had to refer her to the policy which stated it could be returned or exchanged as long as it was withing 14 days and hadn't been altered... I hadn't even taken it out of the packaging as I could see right away the colour was too light. The lady finally agreed to an exchange but then insisted they didn't have a darker colour in that particular fabric. I checked online and there was a darker one in stock, which I showed her, and asked if I ordered it online would it be dispatched from that store, she told me yes then rolled her eyes and asked a younger lady to show me what they had in stock upstairs where I did indeed find the fabric I wanted in a darker shade. I was made to feel like a nuisance, that I was causing them some inconvenience which is why I gave 4 stars, had the lady been more accommodating I would definitely have given 5 stars because the range of fabrics they stock is second to none in Swansea and they are very reasonably priced too.”
