About Jericho Coffee Traders:

Kiwi James and his wife Lizzie had always been in love with the idea of having their own coffee business, often scheming about how they would go about starting it up.

The opportunity came in 2009 when they found a beautiful Vespa trike for sale on the side of the road, and both thought: “that needs a coffee machine on the back of it”! And so, Jericho Coffee Traders was born!

Now we have a thriving online business and three locations in Oxford, UK - our Espresso bar on the High Street, our Cafe at the Oxford Castle, and our Cafe & Roastery on Osney Mead - all serving delicious espresso and filter coffees accompanied by locally made pastries and cakes.

“The regular delivery of delicious Explorer Blend coffee is a welcome treat, from the friendly cycle couriers and the aroma of opening the bag to enjoying the first pot of coffee. The peace of mind and convenience of knowing someone is always remembering to send me the next batch is also really great, and has been user-friendly to adapt if I'm away - thank you!”

“Generally the coffee is very good, I am a little disappointed that I recieved the same coffee twice in a row and was disappointed that when I complained about a punctured bag I recieved I did not even get a response. I would work on customer service.”

Hi Roderick. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us review. We're sorry we dropped the ball with your email about the split bag. We'll see how we can do better! We'll contact you directly about that issue. We do try to rotate coffee between consecutive orders of the Surprise Package, particularly for monthly orders, so you shouldn't have received the same coffee twice in a row. We'll review what happened.

“I love Jericho Coffee Traders. The subscription service is brilliant - getting my order delivered every four weeks just takes the hassle out of having to remember to buy coffee every time I run out. One thing to improve would be to be able to add products to the subscription. I can't find a way to do that.”

“Ok, company, coffee seems to be of good quality. They keep you informed on the dispatch of your orders but don't reply to the emails sent to them. Perhaps small customers are not as important as large ones :(”

“The decaffeinated coffee is really good. I’ve always found it difficult to get a decaf brand that wasn’t bitter but the Jericho is really smooth. Delivery speedy and well packed.”
